A few weeks later, the first literal day of school came for Sans. He wasn't all that excited, but he kept up a good mood. He still wonders how they got a uniform in his size. Kind of impressive. He was holding onto Papyrus like the jar of dust was a prized possession, unwilling to let anyone touch it at all costs. He thought of the happy memories from the underground... Or what he could remember of them. His memories were getting fuzzier as more days passed. While Sans was stuck in thought, Aizawa had come back to the front door with his sleeping bag, him having to go find it after forgetting where he placed it from yesterday. Sans awoke from his trance because of Aizawa snapping his fingers in front of his face. He looked up, smiling almost instantly.
"I found a shortcut to UA. Wanna take it pal?"
"Sure.. Whatever gets us to the class faster so I can sleep."
Sans chuckled, knowing the feeling of wanting to sleep all the time very well. He allowed his distal phalanges to lightly brush across Aizawa's forearm, quickly teleporting them into the classroom. His smile widened more when he looked up at Aizawa, amused by the dazed expression the tired teacher wore.
"Anyway, where do I sit?" Sans asked.
He turned around towards all the student desks. The classroom was empty, save for the two that had just taken a shortcut. Aizawa, after regaining his composure, walked up next to him. The teacher pointed to a desk in the middle row, but just three seats to the right. Sans, being the lazybones he is, teleported to the desk. Aizawa only nodded slightly before going to the corner of the classroom, near the podium.
Admittedly, over the nights, Sans might have messed with a little more code to fit for him as well as read what happened in the past so he knows what knowledge he should know. One of those pieces of knowledge included the talk of a villain attack on UA's campus at USJ, otherwise known as the USJ Incident. He wasn't going to lie, he was extremely intrigued about the villain attack, sucking in all the details until he milked the article dry of facets.
The classroom door opening is what caught his attention. He looked up to see the angry, explosive Pomeranian, known as Bakugou. What a shocker. One of the biggest troublemakers in class was also always early to said class. Sans wasn't too surprised. He dug into each of their character files and read about them. Sounds creepy, but it's needed.
Once Sans snapped out of his thoughts, he noticed that a couple more people had entered the classroom. He watched as more people entered while the time kept ticking closer to the first bell. One of the students, specifically a broccoli haired one, walked in with evident confusion before turning to Sans and walking towards him. Sans perked up a bit after seeing the movement, already knowing that the green haired kid—Midoriya, or more commonly, Deku—was going to ask an ocean of questions. Of course, since Sans had read through the character files, he could sea that one coming.
Midoriya now stood in front of Sans' desk, face now beaming with curiosity, clearly having a bunch of questions on his tongue. Sans chuckled a bit. The excited curiosity reminded him of Papyrus...
Oh how good it would be to have Papyrus here again...
Sans spoke up, "Wazzup kiddo?"
Said 'kiddo' perked up at the greeting. He smiled a bit more before answering happily.
"Hi Sans! I have some questions I wanna ask!"
The skeleton's smile widened, a faint sound of a huffed laugh emitting from his throat. It was amusing seeing someone so excited about something.
"I could tell. Ask away."
Midoriya blushed lightly, embarrassed about being so easily excited. Regardless of that, he started to ask questions to the skeleton one at a time.
"Did you use your teleportation quirk to bring you and Aizawa-sensei here?"
"Sure did kiddo."
"You seem to control it well! How long have you been training to keep your quirk under control?"
"Been training ever since I got it."
A notebook was now in Midoriya's hands. It seemed to appear out of nowhere, but the broccoli child probably had it out since he started asking questions. Midoriya wrote something down in his notes before looking back up and continuing his interrogation.
"I realized your a skeleton! Does that have anything to do with your quirk?"
"Yup.! This question gets asked a skele-ton, but yeah, my quirk affects my appearance. It sometimes makes people jump out of their skin."
Midoriya slightly giggled while someone close by—most likely Bakugou—groaned in annoyance. Sans' smile widened some more as he looked to the side, as if he were trolling in a great way. He looked back towards the broccoli, smile loosening into a more lazy smile.
"Welp, class is 'bouta start soon. I gotta get some shut-eye before then." Sans casually waved off the child.
Midoriya looked a little dumbfounded at first, but quickly nodded and scurried to his seat. The skeleton closed his eye sockets and lay his skull on his crossed arms on the desk, thinking of puns in his skull, causing him to chuckled lightly from time to time.

Sans was half-way to Dreamland when he heard shifting and then Aizawa talking. He lifted his skull, still allowing it to rest on his arms as he payed attention. He still somehow managed to half doze off while listening to the teacher. The next sentence Aizawa spoke caught his attention.
"Since summer break is starting up soon, I decided that we'll have a lodge trip for it."
The students cheered, some like Mina standing up to jump out of pure excitement. Sans, one of the more 'well-behaved' students, just widened his smile. Aizawa quickly shut the cheering students up with his quirk. The standing students quickly sat down. Aizawa sighed at his problem children, but proceeded on a brief and vague explanation.
After the explanation, he allowed the students to roam about the classroom, Aizawa leaving to go do whatever it is he should be doing as a teacher. Sans continued to sit at his desk, half asleep as he payed attention to some of the conversations going on around him.
"Wait, so we're not supposed to take any long trips over summer vacation?" Uraraka's soft voice asked.
"Yeah, apparently that's what the school said." Replied Jirou.
Momo chimed in with slight disappointment, "How unfortunate.. I was supposed to spend several weeks touring Venice with my parents."
"What is your life?" Uraraka asked.
Sans was silently asking the same question as Uraraka in his skull. Momo was very rich and Sans was pretty jealous of her for that.
"Awwww!" Mina started, "And I just bought like a bajillion new swimsuits."
"Well turns out that's what happens when your class is attacked by the League of Villains." Jirou said in a slightly amused manner.
"I want to do something! I don't want to spend my whole summer bored at my house-!" Mina was quickly cut of by Hagakure, "I got it!"
"Why don't we hang out at the school pool over summer vacation, huh?"
The other girls smiled at Hagakure's suggestion. Asui spoke up, "Good idea.-"
From then, Sans blocked their conversation out. He forced himself to open his eye sockets to check if Papyrus was still on his desk. Thankfully, the jar was still there. Sans put his skele-hand on the jar and dragged it more into his grip. He would to protect who he couldn't in the Underground. After locking the jar of dust into his arm's grip, Sans felt like he could sleep peacefully now. And have a peaceful sleep he did....
