"uhh hello earth to jumiko" yumi said.

you squinted your eyes at her.

"jumiko did you get a boyfriend or something? i though you liked michinari!" i gasped.

"w-what no! i love michinari! him and i are dating-" her eyes widened and she slapped her hand over her mouth.

"ooooh jumiko is in lovee~" yumi teased.

"damn it here's your five bucks" kujisa said to you handing you five dollars.

"heh told you i was right" you said smirking while taking the money.

"y'all made a bet?" jumiko said while blushing hard.

"yea, i bet that you guys would get together next month. but y/n here bet that you would get together this month." kujisa said sheepishly while rubbing the back of her neck.

"why are you all getting into relationships." you pouted, "i kinda want one but i also don't know ahh" you groaned in frustration.

"pffft you literally could've had five hundred relationships if you just accepted the boys who confessed to you" kujisa said rolling her eyes.

"yea you reject everyone y/n" yumi added on.

"well none of them are my type and they don't even know me!" i muttered.

"what about atsumu? you guys seem quite close." jumiko asked.

"uhh im not sure about him. he's just a friend i guess?" you questioned yourself.

"y/n is that a blush?" yumi gasped.

"our school's heartbreaker likes someone?? aM I REALLY THAT SINGLE??" kujisa cried out.

"shutup! im not even close to atsumu okay, plus i don't wanna date anyone!" i sighed out.

"soon y/n...soon" the three of them creepily muttered.

you looked confusedly at them when you all broke into laughter.

"y'all sum crackheads, n e ways michinari and i are going to the autumn festival and we wanted to invite y'all bring a plus one!" jumiko invited. "oh btw y/n atsumu is coming so you don't need a plus one hehe"

you jokingly rolled your eyes while you guys grabbed your bags and parted from each other.

you all waved in unison and walked home.

you were about to exit the gate when you heard a voice call you.

"y/n! you didn't wait for me dumbass" the voice snickered.

"ah! hi atsumu! what are you doing here?" you asked.

"michinari is busy so im here to walk you home." he responded.

"didn't michinari tell you that i was going to study with my friends today?" you asked.

"yeah but training ended early today so i can walk home with you, plus it's late ya know." he grinned widely.

you nodded your head as the both of you walked out of the school together.

"oh yeah atsumu i heard you were going to the festival too?" you questioned trying to start a conversation.

"yea, i was thinking of wearing a black coloured shirt but the one i wanted was only for couples!" he pouted.

"ahh...like those matching couple outfits?" you asked.

he nodded enthusiastically.

"uhh...if you don't mind i guess i could wear the other shirt?" you said embarrassed.

"really? i mean yea sure!" he smirked.

you guys arrived to your house and you bowed to him greeting him farewell.

"see you at the autumn festival y/n! i'll pass michinari the shirt later, bye." he waved his hand before walking away.

you went to your room and flopped on your bed using your phone, but all you thought about was the scene before that just kept playing in your head.
