bitna's eyebrows furrowed as soon as she opened her room's door, wondering why is she hearing indistinguishable noise coming from the kitchen early sunday morning. taking few steps from her room, there she saw donghyuck hastily and forcefully squeezing in four packs of strawberries inside the fridge. she watched him struggle for a solid ten minutes before she sighed and walked towards the kitchen, snatching the packs from him.

“you must have enjoyed the view of me having a crisis, huh?” donghyuck leaned on the counter while looking at his housemate swiftly piling up the packs and fitting them inside.

bitna watched the light inside the fridge dimmed as she closed it, “of course, i love watching you struggle.”

“no, bitna, you love watching me.

bitna struggled not to roll her eyes at her roommate's false accusation. changing the topic, she nonchantly asked if the strawberries are on sale. living with donghyuck sure made her know that he is generous, but there is no way he'd buy packs of fruits for such price for himself. donghyuck didn't answer her question and just asked her if she wanted a pack. unfortunately, bitna doesn't like to eat strawberries. her housemate simply replied with a you suck, which made their trying hard friendly conversation to end.

she shook her head and sighed, not in the mood for early banter though she started it herself, “a simple ‘thank you’ is enough, hyuck.”

maybe she should've just zipped her lips because the nickname that left her mouth made a smirk appear on her housemate's face. bitna hasn't always been a morning person thus she blames it all to this reason. i hate mornings, she cursed as she drank a whole bottle of water in one gulp.

“hyuck?” donghyuck faced bitna, still leaning on the counter. “i didn't know we're in that kind of relationship now, moon,” he teased, also drinking a bottle of water of his own while looking at her.

bitna internally cursed herself but how can anyone expect her to call him donghyuck when mark always go hyuck hyuck hyuck? she almost thought it was his actual name until mark forced her to follow donghyuck (actually his five other best friends too) on social networking sites then she found out about her rommate's full name.

at first she didn't get why she needed to follow and be friends with mark's other friends too but after looking through his friends' sns, bitna realized that it isn't bad as she thought. how can it be bad when she can see story updates from those damn five attractive men. five because donghyuck isn't obviously included. this stupid hatred they have for each other won't make them admit that they both find each other attractive. never.

she was about to say a final blow on donghyuck when they both heard the doorbell rang, making her housemate run as fast as he could that he even almost tripped himself. before he could even open the door, he went back to the kitchen to grab the three packs of strawberries inside the fridge. she only watched donghyuck and not like she had anything better to do, bitna eyed on the receipt on the table from donghyuck's groceries this morning. damn, the strawberries aren't on sale, she grimaced.

ignoring donghyuck, bitna slumped onto the sofabed in the living room just to see an unexpected scene: donghyuck being giggly while conversing to a familiar girl but she couldn't pinpoint where she has seen her. the girl seemed to notice her and waved, acting all friendly which made bitna flustered. no wonder donghyuck likes her, she's heavenly gorgeous, she thought as she awkwardly waved back. the scene before her eyes made her smirk but soon faded when she noticed something on donghyuck after he bid goodbye to the fine lady and faced her.

she put her palm on her neck as if she's finding something missing, “where did you get that necklace?”

donghyuck looked at her with confusion at her sudden question, “like literally? shower?”

“it looks a lot like what mark gave me.” it is a necklace with a musical note pendant. she couldn't be wrong, it is very important to her.

“no,” he poked his cheek with his tongue. “this is what mark gave me.”

donghyuck walked and leaned in towards the sitting figure, “i'm sorry but this is mine, bitna.”

the next thing bitna did made donghyuck flustered. she leaned closer to him to swiftly remove the necklace from his neck. “let me check it,” bitna gritted through her teeth.

they both know they can know whose necklace it is since mark has custom engraved name on the back of the pendant but that doesn't stop them to childishly snatch the necklace from each other's grasp, fighting loudly in the living room. talking it out really seems like the last option they'd take.

“hey guys i'm sorry this is such a late realization but have you seen my necklace?” their stupid fight was automatically halted when they heard mark's voice interfering.

mark lee is here, and they are fighting. they cannot let him see them like this.

but it's too late. mark has already witnessed the two in the living room with messy everything. wrinkled clothes, disheveled hair, and untidy surroundings. bitna was laying her back on the sofabed with donghyuck on top of her. her one hand is on donghyuck's chest and the other one was held by him in attempt to get the necklace back. it was undoubtedly an unpleasant scene, especially for other people to see. why didn't they change the passcode?

“uh... what are you guys doing?” mark asked the two whose braincells aren't currently working to make up an excuse.

a deafening silence was heard until bitna spoke. “fighting,” she couldn't lie. “for the remote,” maybe she can.

mark pointed at the remote control on the other side of the living room, “there's the remote?”

a silence was heard again and donghyuck and bitna could only stare at each other, eyes are evident with panic as they know they're doomed. what happened to not letting mark lee unhappy?

“am i disturbing—”

mark was interrupted when donghyuck threw the necklace they were fighting for earlier to him which he caught effortlessly thanks to his spidey senses, “dude, we were making out. must you really interrupt us like that?”
