*Kaylas pov.*

I wake up for school and immediately check my phone like any other human being. and I get a text from my boyfriend saying "gm" I text back "hey" then turn off my phone and start getting ready

I take a shower and curl my hair and put on some light makeup and I put on some ripped jeans and a black crop top.

I walked downstairs to get my bagel then I see Tyler outside waiting for me in his truck. I walk out to the truck and sit in the backseat because Matt is sitting in the front.

"you could've atleast told me Matt was here" I said buckling up in the back
"do you have a problem with him being here" he says looking at me
"no no no I dont I dont" I say panicking a little
"good thats what I thought" he looks away and starts driving to school.

we get to school and I get out of the truck and start walking in to find Caroline and Bonnie. Matt catches up to me and says "hey are you and Tyler ok? you looked scared when he raised his voice at you" he says looking at me while walking into school.
"were fine" I say and walking away from matt.

I find Caroline and Bonnie by the lockers staring at someone in the office.
"hey guys who you staring at?" I say walking closer. "oh there's this new guy he hasn't turned around yet we don't know what he looks like" Caroline says looking at me exited "hey have you seen elena?" Bonnie says asking me "no I haven't Tyler picked me up and haven't had my phone" I say looking back at the mystery guy.

"where's your phone?" the girls say to me instinct "oh Tyler had it he takes it every day so I don't text other guys" I say looking back at them looking at me weird. "why are you looking at me weird" I say. "because thats not okay thats really toxic how long has he been doing that?" bonnie asks me. "idk like months". "and you didn't tell us?" Caroline says looking at me "no I can't" I say while looking down at my shoes "is there anything he does that we need to know about" Bonnie asks "no I cant say anything to anyone" I say looking down and start walking away to my class.

"no! you can't just walk away" Caroline says while grabbing my arm to pull me back to them. I flinch and get a little scared. "wait you flinched are you ok?" Bonnie says "ya im fine! just let me go I need to go to class" I say while walking away to class.

"is Tyler abusing her do you think?" bonnie asks Caroline. "I have no idea maybe we need to go to class and find elena" they say while walking away from the locker hangout spot.

elena walks up behind the two girls walking to class "heyyy guys" elena says "where have you been?!" Caroline practically screams at elena "oh i was with stefan" she says "you need to get to school on time then hanging out with your boyfriend" bonnie says while they walk into there classroom. elena sits next to kayla and Bonnie and Caroline sit next to eachother.

this guy walks into the classroom he is tall and has light brown hair and is wearing a grey shirt and some black jeans.
