*klaus's pov*
I was about to tell kayla that I was a hybrid then I liked towards her I saw a truck in her window coming straight at us.

"kayla!! move!!" I yelled and she tried but she couldn't move fast enough before the truck came smashing into her side

I get out of the car to see who did it and it was Tyler and he was already gone
I quickly go to see if kayla was ok. I opened up her door and pulled her out of the car and put her on the ground

"kayla? can you hear me?" I say trying to get her to talk to me to make sure she's alive

"klaus-.." kayla says quietly looking up at me

"your alive!!" I say looking down at her again

I call 911 so we can get her to the hospital so they can see if she is ok

the ambulance finally shows up and they put her on the stretcher and gets her in the ambulance I get to ride with her on the way to the hospital

paramedic: so what happened?

me:well me and Kayla were sitting in the car parked in the lot then I was gonna tell her something and when I faced her I saw a car coming at us through the window I told her to move but she didn't make it and I got out and noticed it was her ex and he was gone by the time I got out there and I got her out of the car and on the ground

paramedic:thank you so much for telling me what happened we will be bringing her in the hospital now yiu can come if you want

we arrived at the hospital and I get out falling them and they take her to an x-ray room and I have to wait in the waiting room for her to be done.

nurse: anyone here for kayla Davis?

Me! I stand up and walk up to the nurse to ask if she's ok

"whats wrong with her" I ask the nurse

"she has no broken bones but she has a slight concussion she will recover in 2 weeks" the nurse says

"ok how long does she have to stay here?" I ask her

"2 days then she can go home, what is your relation to her?" the nurse asks me

"oh im her umm...friend.." I say back

"can I see her? I ask the nurse

"of course just follow me" she says starts walking down the bright hallway

she walks me to the 3rd room in the hallway then there's kayla laying in the bed looking at the TV on the wall

"klaus?" kayla asks while she sees me walking in the room

"hey kayla how are you feeling?" I ask her when I sit In the chair next to her bed

"im good my head just hurts a lot" she says while touching her head

"ya I bet you have a concussion,do you remember what happened?" I asked her

"um I remember we were in a parking lot in your car and you were gonna tell me something then you told me to move then everything went black" she says

"well yes I saw a car coming towards us and I told you to move and then soon enough the car was already into us and I immediately got out and it was Tyler in his truck" I say looking at her

"why would he do this?" she says

"I have no idea but im so glad your okay" I say resting my hand on her leg she flinched a little but she doesn't move it

"oh I hear people coming" I say and we both look towards the door

"kayla are you okay?" i hear Caroline say while she walks in with elena and Bonnie

"im fine I just have a concussion" she says looking at them

*Kaylas pov*

I'm so happy that klaus was here the whole time with me idk what I would do without him hes already a good friend and we just met.

I was exited to see my friends burst through the hospital door to come see me.

"im so happy you guys are here now" I say talking to the girls

"where's Tyler?" elena asks me

"oh I broke up with him it was just really toxic and he would abuse me" I said finally comfortable telling them what happened

"im so sad to hear that kayla,why didn't you tell us earlier" bonnie asks

"ya I doubt it Tyler would never do that your probably just doing it for attention " elena says rolling her eyes

"elena! how could you say that to her!" Caroline says practically yelling at elena

"what I just don't believe it" elena says crossing her arms

klaus then stands up and says "elena I think its time for you to go she doesn't need you here if your gonna be mean" and he tried to walk her out

"no! you vant tell me to leave you guys just met I've know kayla like my whole life why do you care what I say or do tk my friend" elena says back refusing to leave

"can all of you leave! I have a headache and I don't wamt all this fighting to happen in front of me" I say basically yelling at my friends

all of them get up and leave expect for klaus

"klaus I said to leave even you.." I say looking at him

"no I im not leave you I dont want Tyler to show up and hurt you" he says sitting back down in his chair

"kayla..."
