Jace's pov:
It's scientifically impossible to be as annoying as that kid. But I will admit, he is kinda cute, but I don't have time to think about that, snap out of it me, you need to keep a low profile so you can find Clarence. He is the main priority right now, you just need to lay here for one more day, then head out again. You also need to find a way to hide the stone, and stop talking to yourself... Anyway!! Under no circumstances can that bastard king get his hands on another stone! Ya know what? I could always leave it with the pipsqueak... he's the last person the king would suspect! I left the haystack and made sure the stone was intact.
"Yeah, I think I'll do that. You know, for being so well...him, he has guts. Maybe with the right training he could be a leaf guard for the Under Country.." I decided to get some sleep before leaving the stone with the kid.
The next morning came around waking me up and got ready to head out. I ate some cheese the kid probably left, then sharpen my knives and loaded my guns. I scaled the side of his house and saw him quietly and peacefully sleeping. Okay I gotta admit, he is pretty cute. I snuck in his room and placed the stone on his side table, I dashed out to go find my brother.
