Hope arc ~ Chapter one

Y/n POV

"KIKOSHO!" I yell. my hands don't glow blue, and there's no energy ball. 

"KIKOKEN!" I try with a simpler technique. Still nothing. I plop down on the beach. We're going to see the future foundation soon. They had to go, and now we haven't had contact with them. 

"Flying bird kick!" I yell trying to lift myself up. I fall right back to the floor. Is my energy not strong enough? Have I forgotten some key component to this high level of kung fu?

I stand up, pull my hands in. Maybe it's time I try something different. 

"Shinku... HADOKEN!" I yell. And... a stronger energy beam comes out of my fingers. the kind that is even more powerful than Kikosho. 

"That's pretty badass babe," Fuyuhiko says from behind me. 

"Ah! Fuyuhiko-kun!" I exclaim. 

"How did you do that?" He asks. 

"Well it's a mix of- wait- why do you wanna know?" I ask. 

"Well, because, I've never seen it before," he replies. 

"Well, you put focus energy into your palms and release it, but usually I do Kikoken, which is significantly weaker." I say. 

"You unlocked a new power or something? That's really cool babe!" He says. 

"Thanks Fuyu, we're getting loaded onto the ship soon right? Is Nagito up yet so we can go?" I say. 

"No, Alter Ego is still doing it's thing. We're dead in his dream already though, anyway, we should head to the boat" He puts his hands in his pockets and starts walking. 

"Alright, Let's go," I say taking his hand. We hold hands as we walk to the boat.
