We took our seats together. I clutched onto Tammi's hand tightly, terrified by the teenage girls surrounding us. I still had my black glasses on, but I doubted I would still have them by the end of the concert. Everyone screamed in the dark stadium as the lights shone on the stage. On the screen appeared a video of the five boys from the poster. It told you their names, likes and dislikes. It was helpful because I had no idea who any of them were. I remembered Niall was the blond, Harry had curls, and Zayn had the most tanned skin. The other two were the ones I mixed up as they both began with L. The video showed signs. 10 seconds. A few more clips. 5 seconds. At this point I was surprised that none of the screaming girls had popped a blood vessel yet. The lights all turned off, so we were standing in darkness. The screams got even louder, and my head was pounding. I couldn't take it anymore.

"Shut the fuck up!" I yelled. Nobody paid attention as at that moment the lights snapped back on and five boys ran onto the stage, the blond one doing a little leap.

The music started up, and the curly brunette started the song.

"Do you remember summer 09? Wanna go back there every night, just can't lie, was the best time of my life." He sang into the microphone, his other hand behind his back. I watched as the others winked and messed around behind him, making the girls go "Aww, eeee! Look at Zayn! Look at Niall! They're so cute! Louis' wearing stripes! Look at Daddy Direction!" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. The guys were pretty good, but I had to admit their fans were the most annoying little twats ever. No offence of course. Maybe they were just extremely excited... or extremely troubled.

"Baby girl, this is torture!" Garreth hissed in my ear. I looked up at him and nodded. The chorus had started and the blond, Niall, was singing loudly into the microphone.

"I know!" I mouthed back to him. He leaned in to whisper in my ear again.

"It's not even the boys, they are really good and really hot but the fans!" he whispered then shuddered. I laughed then turned back around to watch the boys who had just finished the first song. All the girls were clapping and whistling and screaming.

"Harreh, gimme some of yer gravy!" one of the girls beside us, who looked about fourteen shouted. Was this a private fan joke or what? Becuase the only gravy she should be getting is from her granny's sunday roast.

"Did-did you just hear..??!!"

"Yup!" I said interupting Garreth. He had an expression of shock on his face that was absolutley hilarious.

"That-that little girl just... what?!" he said starting to laugh.

"Pssshhhttt!" I said bursting out in laughter. "What's wrong with these children!?"

"What's right with these children?!" he said laughing even harder.

We endured the rest of the concert. It was just time to go.

"It's been amazing!" the one with stripes on announced. "I'm so sorry but we have to go now!"

"Have you had a good night?" the curly one yelled into the mike. The girls started screaming yes.

"Good!" said the other L.

"We'll miss you all!" the one with tanned skin said with a sad face.

"Goodnight everybody, we hope to see you soon!" the blond said, and they all ran offstage. Everyone started walking out, pushing and shoving. One girl pushed past me knocking my dark glasses off. They got caught on the heel of her shoe. I followed her.

"Can I have my glasses back?! Excuse me?" I said tapping her. She never noticed, as there were so many people her, pushing and touching.

"Give me my glasses!" I said pushing her forward a bit. She turned around, with a disgusted look and continued walking.
