As wind softly blew and birds quietly chirped, Ellie sat on the ground, guitar in hand and back against a tree as she stared at the grave before her.

After weeks of traveling, her and the rest of the group made it back home safely. Alex and Christen were greeted with open arms, Dina,Tommy,Ellie and Jesse were all welcomed back, and you were taken away respectfully labeled as a hero.

"Hey, Ellie."

Looking up from the grave before her, Ellie spots Jesse making his way down the dirt path to where she sits. She smiles up at him and places her guitar to the side as she stands to hug him.

"Jesse! It's been a while." She starts as she pats his back "How've you been?"

Chuckling Jesse pulls away from the hug and shrugs as best he can "I've been good, you?"

Smiling slightly Ellie shrugs and rubs the back of her neck "Could be better." Nodding at the brunettes answer Jesse looks to the grave.

"Spending some time together?" he questions as he points to the grave. Smiling slightly, Ellie nods and leans agains the tree "Something like that." she comments as she picks up her guitar "I was actually just about to come over to your house. Dina invited me over for dinner."

Grinning widely, Jesse wraps an arm around Ellies shoulders and walks her away from the graveyard "She told me, reckoned I would just come grab you since you have seemed to lost your track of time."

"What do you mean? I didn't lose my track of time, it's four o'clock." "It's six, El."

Face going blank Ellie looks to Jesse "What!"

Chuckling at Ellie's antiques Jesse gives her a shake of the head "Yeah, you've been hanging out there for a while." shaking her head in disbelief Ellie places a hand on her forehead "Was I really there that long?"

"Yep, you were there so long that you nearly ruined your own surprise."

Looking up to Jesse with her brows furrowed Ellie stops walking.

"A surprise."

"Yeah, a surprise. Now close your eyes and let me blind fold ya. We can't have ya actually ruining it this time."

Rolling her eyes with a sigh Ellie begrudgingly lets Jesse blindfold her and lead her towards the surprise.

And surely, after plenty of 'are we there yet's', Jesse and Ellie finally make it to the house where the surprise will be taking place.

"Are we there-" "Yes we're here."

Shaking his head with a smile Jesse leads Ellie inside the house and into the dining room where everyone sits quietly and patiently to watch Ellies reaction to the surprise.

"Okay, ya ready?"

"Duh, I've been ready."

Rolling his eyes Jesse starts a countdown from three.

"Okay, 3...2...1"

"Surprise!" you shout loudly as Ellie readjusts to the lighting. She jumps slightly at the sound of you yelling, but once she realizes it was you who yelled she rubs her eyes quickly and takes a deep breath.
