Roselle's pov

My eyes flutter open as I take in my  surroundings. Where the fuck am I? I blink a few times to clear my focus. I see headstones, tombs, trees, a fire, rock salt, witch talismans. And my history teacher. I groan, sitting up. Ric smirks at me, offering me his hand.

"What happened?" I ask, taking his hand. Ric pulls me up off of the ground.

"I chloroformed you." He says simply. My eyes widen.

"What!? You drugged me?! Why!?!" I ask incredulously, and extremely pissed. Then I hear footsteps, and feel a hand on my shoulder.

"Roselle, calm down." Says a voice. I let out a small gasp and quickly spin around.

"M-Mother?" I stutter. A tear falls from my eye as I fling myself onto her, hugging her tightly. "I... I... I thought you were dead." I say. Mother hugs me back, but then pulls back from the hug.

"Oh my darling, Roselle. How you've grown. I need your help." She says.

"What? What's wrong?" I ask.

"I need you to help me make Alaric immortal." Mother says. I freeze. Alaric. Immortal. My vision.

"No." I mutter, stumbling back. "No! I won't do it!" I shout at her.

"There are other ways of using you." Mother says.

"O-Other ways? Wha-What do you m-mean?" I ask. She starts to mutter a spell and I'm hit with pain like a ton of bricks. I scream and collapse on my knees, holding my head. Mother bends down and caresses my chin. I slowly feel my power draining out of me. "It hurts!" I cry.

"Shhh." Mother says. Then everything goes black.

Third Person's pov

Klaus angrily beat against the barrier, knowing that Alaric had taken Roselle, and that his mother trapped them at the school. He knew that Roselle's dream wasn't a dream, it was a vision. Elena had gotten through, and Matt and Jeremy were attempting to as well, but only to protect Elena.

Meanwhile, at the cemetery, Esther completed draining Roselle, taking her magic. Alaric grabbed her body, and the stake, preparing to kill her, when Esther put her hand up. "Don't." She said. "She is the only one of our family that has remained pure. And a far worse day awaits her yet still." Esther said.

"What do you mean?" Alaric asked her.

"Roselle is with child." Esther said. They heard a gasp, and their heads snapped in the direction of a shocked Elena Gilbert. She ran over to Roselle's body and crouched down.

"Roselle! Roselle?!" Elena asked frantically. She looked up at Esther, standing back up. "What did you do to her!?" Elena demanded.

"She's only sleeping. I wasn't strong enough to do the spell on my own." Esther explained.

From then on, Elena listened to Esther, as Alaric set Roselle's body and the stake in the front of the nearby crypt. They went on with the spell, but when it was over, and Alaric was in transition, that was when Jeremy and Matt arrived with crossbows.

"Don't. Jeremy, Matt, I'm fine." Elena said. But just as Esther turned on Matt and Jeremy, and was about to kill them, Esther was stabbed through the chest with the White Oak stake.

By Roselle.
