We jumped out of the helicopter and hurried inside. Once we were settled we heard a big groaning noise. No, it was a creaking noise. Then followed by clicking. Minho, Newt, and I all ran to the window. What we saw couldn't compare to the horrors that we have gone through. Outside was a huge Scorpion like monster. It's tail had a needle and its teeth looked as if they were six feet long. The Things body was at least as big as the room they were in. It was really fast too. It was a good thing the walls were made of Metal otherwise we were better off dead.
A man had suddenly appeared with another group of boys and a group of girls. Newt immediately ran to a girl who I assumed was his sister. Newt talked a lot about her but I still barely even remember her name. He would only say that he missed her and how he would do anything to get her back or even see her for a few minutes. Minho and I then saw a few familiar faces. I search for one particular person. I sigh in relief when I see him.
"Chuck!" I yell. He snaps his head up, eyes illuminating with joy. He runs up to me and gives me a hug. "I have missed you so much Chuck!" The twelve year old boy wriggles trying to free himself from my grasp. I finally let him go.
"I have missed you too, Thomas!" The boy beamed with delight. "How long has it been?" he paused, "You know the accident? Is he doing alright?"
I can feel my eyes start to sting. "The Accident". Newt wasn't always the way he is now. He used to be so bright and cheerful and optimistic. Now he is just Plain old Newt, he doesn't have any emotions. All because of "The Accident". He doesn't laugh anymore and when he does it is always in his sleep.
"You alright Tommy?" I hear an all to familiar british voice. I turn away and wipe my eyes quickly. He grabs my shoulder and turns me so I am facing him. He saw how My tears haven't stopped and brings me into a strong embrace. I hug him back tightly.
"She isn't here." I lied. Teresa, my sister,has been missing since my Mom's death. He pulls back just enough to look into my eyes.
"We'll find her Tommy. Don't worry." He says with a sad smile.
"Tom?" I look up and there she is. Standing there in our Mothers red dress with red flowers.
She runs over to us and throws her arms around me and Newt. Newt stiffens. I rub his back and he relaxes a bit.
He was never a really big fan of her.She had Dated Minho but since she was gone for almost a year it broke Minhos heart.
Minho said he wanted to date Newt but he realized he was still in love with Teresa, so he dumped Newt. Newt didn't mind breaking up. He said he liked someone else to so it was a mutual agreement. Only Minhos knows who he likes even though they aren't speaking.
Teresa let's go of us but Newts arms stay around me. He loosens them a bit so I can stand up.
A Blonde girl then walks up to us with a boy with brown hair and blue eyes and a girl with dreadlocks and amazing eyebrows.
Newt let's go of me and gives the blonde girl a hug.
"This is Sonya my sister" He says.
"Hi, you must be Thomas." I nod. "This is Aris and Harriet" she says pointing to the boy and girl.
