Chapter 2: Royal Ambition

Toni helps Cheryl. Things get risky while Toni is with Cheryl. Cheryl wants to go back to the southside, so she brings someone with her.  A southsider gets hurt.

At Fang's and Toni's place

They finally arrive 

"Hey, I'm going to put the horses up." Fangs said walking over to the stables to put the horses up. 

Toni walks into their house with Cheryl, and shuts the door behind them.

Cheryl looks around. "Wow, it's so cozy here." Cheryl said sitting down on the couch.

Toni nods. "Yeah, it's no castle, but we manage here on the southside." Toni said grabbing some bandages, a rag and some salve. 

Cheryl takes off her dress leaving her in her underwear. Toni tries not to look, but she can't help it. The princess looks amazing. 

"Let me help you." Toni said looking at Cheryl's wound. 

"How bad is it?" Cheryl asked wincing because of pain. 

"Bad, but I got you princess." Toni goes to her stash and pulls out the good stuff she makes. She comes back with bandages, a wet hot cloth, and some water. 

"You don't have to do this." Cheryl said to Toni.

Toni nods. "I know I don't, but I'm a Topaz. I'm not going to let you die because of our war with the ghoulies." Toni said pressing the hot cloth on Cheryl's wound.

"Shit!" Cheryl yells in pain.

Toni stops. "Sorry princess, but I have to clean this." Toni said as she cleans the wound.

Cheryl sighs. "So, you and Fangs live together?" Cheryl asked looking at Toni.

Toni nods. "Yeah we do. I got kicked out by my Uncle. I took all the medicine and food my family produces. If my Uncle dies, he dies. He doesn't even know how to make any medicine. He loves getting drunk, and that's going to get him killed." Toni said applying the medicine to Cheryl's wound. 

"Wow that feels so good." Cheryl said as she relaxes. 

"The medicine will do that to you, you'll be fine in like 20 minutes. This is the good shit." Toni said putting the top back onto the jar. "Drink, some water." Toni give Cheryl a cup.

Cheryl takes it and drinks the water. "Hmm, it good." Cheryl downs the rest of her water.

"We got it from a special place that's all fresh spring healthy water. It'll also heal you quicker." Toni takes her stuff back into the back. 

"You got anything for me to wear?" Cheryl asked.

"Yeah." Toni gets some clothes out for Cheryl.

Cheryl looks around the small place. Toni comes back. 

"Here you go. Clothes for you. They're clean." Toni said handing them to her. Toni turns around.

Cheryl nods and takes them. "Um...thanks." Cheryl said getting dressed.

"You're welcome." Toni said. 

"You can turn around now. I'm done." Cheryl said softly. 

Toni turns around and smiles. "Look, I know this might sound crazy, but I think it's best if you stay here tonight."

Cheryl's eyes widen. "No offence, but I can't stay here on this side of town. My mother will send more guards out this way and they'll kill you." Cheryl told Toni.
