"What is so important that they have to be here?" Elena asked Tyler pointing to the Mikealsons.

"Because this is about all of us here." Liz Forbes says, "This affects the town, not just this small group of people here."

"It's not always about you Elena, the Salvatore brothers may act like it is but, in reality, it isn't," Rebekah says annoyed with the latest doppelgänger.

"We need to think logically not emotionally with this situation." Mayor Lockwood says trying to make sure an argument doesn't start.

"What is going on mom?" Caroline asked the sheriff that was standing next to Carol in the Mayor's home office.

"Mayor Lockwood and I were sent letters, it was sent by Amethyst, Queen of Elves," Liz informed the Mikealsons and the wannabe Scooby gang.

"Elves?" Damon asks bewildered by the information he was given. In his whole vampire existence, he had never heard about elves being real.

"Elves are a thing?" Elena asks looking at Alaric.

"We were told stories about The Elves as children." Rebekah softly says remembering all the bedtime stories she was told about elves as a child from her mother.

"Mother always spoke highly of them, they have be around since the Old Age." Kol says, "Witches have always looked up to them for a time."

"What happened?" Bonnie asks, her Grams never spoke of elves.

"They vanished. All of the elves disappeared in the night, when the word spread they were gone witches were devastated. Elves have always helped witches, helped the werewolf packs with the full moon." Kol says.

"Witches usually practice ancestral magic while elves are magic in a living being essentially. There are fours types of elves," Elijah explains to the younger supernatural creatures. "there are the 'normal' elves they don't have any special gifts. All elves have supernatural-sight, supernatural-speed, supernatural-healing, supernatural-hearing. They are known for their pointy ears and they usually have long white hair."

"Then there are the Blood Elves, they are very similar to vampires. They need human blood to survive, they have special venom in their fangs that makes their prey enjoy the feeling of being feed on. It's euphoric." Klaus says.

"Wait so they get horny when they get drank from?" Damon asks.

"Basically," Rebekah says.

"Shadow Elves can change their physical appearance, they can look like anyone that they have physically seen. They feed off of emotions, they love the chase. Scaring their prey is their favorite part of the hunt. They are the most merciless elves." Kol tells everyone. "They kill anyone who gets in their way with no remorse, no hesitation."

"Elemental Elves can control the elements. Fire Elves, Water Elves, Air Elves, and Earth Elves. Their gifts are self-explanatory." Elijah speaks up.

"What did the letters say?" Questions Klaus.

Carol hands him the letter she received earlier that morning.

"Dear Mayor Lockwood,

My name is Amethyst, Queen of Elves, some information about your town came to my attention. Specifically, a few select people that reside in your town. I'm not here as a threat, that is not my intention. I come as someone looking for something very valuable that you have.
I sent a different letter to your sheriff, seeing as her daughter is a vampire and was part of the Council. Why yes, I did my research on your town. Caroline Forbes daughter of Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes, a very beautiful strong vampire, who is dating your hybrid son. The first-ever successful Hybrid, Tyler Lockwood. He was saved from having to transform every month, yet very angry at his sire. Odd. But then again he isn't much for a hybrid.
I know about all of the supernatural creatures living in that town, your town has made a name for itself in the supernatural world. More specifically Elena Gilbert has made Mystic Falls widely known to the supernatural world. Like a beacon.
I have done my research on the infamous Mystic Falls years ago and have been keeping tabs on it since, on the latest doppelgänger, on the Original family, on the witches of the town. The hunters. Not to mention the fact that both Salvatore brothers fell in love with another Petrova doppelgänger. History loves to repeat itself.
But that is enough for this particular letter Mayor. I will be coming to visit your town for the next few weeks and would love to get to meet you, and the rest of the supernatural creatures that live in your town. Peacefully.

"Sounds to me like she isn't a fan of Elena." Rebekah snarks.

"Oh-" Elena starts to say.

"What about the other letter?" Stefan asks to stop a fight from starting.

Elijah reads the letter,
"Dear, Elizabeth Forbes,
My name is Amethyst, the Queen of Elves, you have probably talked to the mayor by now. I wonder who will read the letters aloud. I will imagine Elijah's voice reading at least one of these letters.
Elijah Mikaelson caught my attention right away, he reminds me of my great friend Odin. I can't wait to hear the stories of his siblings when they were younger. Especially Kol, the devious thing he is.
I remember hearing about Esther for the first time. God the stories I heard about what she let Niklaus go through. God, I wish I could have killed her, I still don't get why the doppelgänger and her friends thought it would be a good idea to let her out. She allowed her husband to physically abuse her child.
She got what she deserved if you ask me, I mean you never forgave your ex after he tortured Caroline, did you Liz? I know I wouldn't.
Now you are probably wondering where is this letter going. I know these letters will be shared so this is my way of making sure everyone knows the rules. This way I know if you break the rules it won't be unintentional. The rules are simple really, Bonnie Bennett, Jeremy Gilbert, Kol, and Niklaus Mikaelson are now under my and all elves' protection.
This means anyone who hurts them hurts us and we will always strike back. You are probably wondering why they are important to me, but no one but who they decide to tell will know why.
A few friends and I will be living in your small town for a few weeks, we already acquired a house for us to reside in for the time we are here living in your town.
Now the next part of this letter is important so listen carefully. Anyone who tries to kidnap, hurt, or kill my elves will die from my own hands. I will always protect my Elves. I won't hold back nor will I tell you a second time. This warning is more of a courtesy. Anyone who attacks Bonnie, Jeremy, Kol, or Niklaus will deal personally with me. I might not be a Shadow Elf but I trained with the best of the Shadow Elves. Make sure the Scooby Gang wannabes understands that.
We shall be in Mystic Falls by the evening of the day you receive this letter. I want every single supernatural creature at the Lockwood house so we can meet, and make sure it's only supernatural no humans allowed. No funny business Elena, you will never hurt me let alone be able to kill me so don't even try.
