It was a beautiful night, red moon, f/n didn't see the moon though, no, they didn't have enough motivation to stand up and go out.

f/n wasn't in the best mood, f/n felt empty, they felt lonely, they had no one to talk to, sure, they had some friends, but, no one ever took them seriously when they said they were upset.

why? well, f/n did the terrible mistake of trying to make everyone laugh, they made the mistake of not showing any emotions but happiness. f/n shoved their emotions deep down just so people would smile, cause, if they couldn't smile then it would be enough with seeing other people smiling, right?

wrong.

you see, the thing is that, when a person shows happiness to other people, then people start expecting that person to always show happiness, no matter how sad they are, what happens when the person isn't doing so well and tries to reach out for help? they invalidate the persons feelings,

how?

saying things like

"you're always laughing, you can't be depressed"

"oh please, you're always happy, you don't know what stress is"

"you're just doing it for attention"

blah, blah, blah

f/n was tired.
all they wanted was someone who would listen, they just wanted someone who wouldn't judge, someone who would make them know it's gonna be okay, they just wanted someone that understands that they can't be happy all the time.

they just wanted someone who didn't have high expectations of them, they didn't want to disappoint anyone anymore.

they didn't have anyone, not with the patience that they need to be able to deal with someone as emotionally fucked as f/n. not someone who understands them.

or thats what they thought.
