I got out of Bonnie's car after she insisted on taking me aswell as Elena to school since I usually walked.
"I'm not saying don't date the guy. I'm saying take it slow," Bonnie explained to Elena. As per usual the conversation drifted to Elena and her love life. We can't ever just have a conversation about something else.
"You are the one who said to go for it," Elena reminded Bonnie.
"Now, I'm saying take it slow," Bonnie stated.
"Why the about-face?" Elena asked.
"It's not an about-face. You're single for the first time in your high school career. It's the perfect time to play the field."
"Oh, because I'm so that girl. Seriously what are you not saying?"
"It's stupid."
"Bonnie."
"What?"
"Spit it out."
"I accidently touched Stefan and I got a really bad feeling."
"Is that it? Bonnie."
"It was "bad" bad."
"Is this the whole witch-mojo thing again?"
"Know what? I'm just concerned. This is me expressing my concern about my best friend's new boyfriend."
"Ouch, Bon," I joked, trying to lighten up the atmosphere.
"You know what I mean, Toni," Bonnie cleared up. I just nodded.
"And I live you for it. I do. But I feel good. It's been a hard year and I'm starting to kind of feel like things are getting back to normal again. And you know what? Stefan is a big part of that," Elena explained, referring to Bonnie's comment. They just shared a look. That was when I realised something. My sister was smiling genuine smiles. I could tell the difference to when she faked a smile. That made me smile. All I had to do now was make sure she stays happy while getting Jeremy to be happy. I would say I should try and get him off drugs, but I would never give up cutting, so I can't blame him. We all have our different coping methods. It's just that mine and Jeremy's are not healthy and life-threatening.

Stefan's POV

I saw Elena, Bonnie and Toni walking towards school so I decided to greet them.
"Morning, Elena. Morning, Toni. Morning, Bonnie," I greeted them all. As per usual, I could smell Toni's blood stronger then anyone's. It seems like she has an open wound, but she looks perfectly fine.
"Hey, um, I gotta go find Caroline. She's not answering her phone, so see you guys," Bonnie explained leaving.
"Bonnie, wait," Elena said, trying to stop her friend from leaving. Toni sighed from beside me. Something was different. Usually, it would seem like she had an open wound, but today it seemed like she had several. The smell was so strong that I was physically struggling not to let my vampire face out or leap towards her and suck the blood from her veins.
"She doesn't like me very much," I stated, already knowing as much.
"She doesn't know you. She's my best friend. She's just looking out for me, but when she does, she will love you," Elena explained.
"Or not," Toni mumbled. People usually wouldn't be able to hear what she said, so I just ignored her. We started walking towards the school again.
"Here's what we're gonna do. Are you free tonight?" Elena asked. I thought for a moment, trying to remember if I had any plans.
"Yes," I answered.
"Perefect," Elena started.
"What's perfect?" Toni voiced my thoughts.
"Dinner. Our house. 8:00. You, me, Toni and Bonnie. You two will spend some quality time and she'll get to see what a great guy you are. Mission accomplished," Elena explained. I thought about it and decided that it was a good idea. I would become friends with Bonnie and Toni and maybe find out why Toni always seems to reek of her blood. I smiled slightly at Elena. Hearing a ball coming at me from a distance, I quickly turned around and caught it. I then threw it back, hard. That will teach him for being a jerk and trying to hit someone with a ball. The bell rang so we headed to class.

Toni's POV

As soon as we entered the school, I separated from Elena and Stefan, heading to my own class. I thought it was amazing how well Stefan caught the ball and thought he should join the team.
After classes, I headed to watch the practise on the field. I saw Stefan sitting alone on the bleachers and decided to join him. I sat right next to him.
"Hello, loner boy," I greeted, smiling a fake smile.
"Hi, Toni," Stefan greeted, smiling a small smile.
"No nickname. Tough love, Stefan Salvatore," I joked, putting my hand to my chest in fake hurt. He chuckled a little before facing me.
"You know, you should join the team. We suck. Terribly," I suggested to him.
"I know, Elena already told me," Stefan admitted.
"Then that's the universe telling you to at least try out. If you do it, you'll have Elena cheering you on," I explained.
"So you won't cheer me on?" Stefan asked.
"Nope. Elena's on the cheerleading team along with Bonnie and Caroline. I could never imagine wearing those two pieces of fabric they call uniforms. Plus, I barely ever go to the games for the sport. Just so I can watch Elena and make sure Jeremy doesn't get himself killed," I explained. Stefan just nodded. Then we turned to watch them play and cheer.
Stefan stood up and headed towards Mr Tanner. Poor guy was probably getting a lecture. Elena told me what happened in History for them. Apparently, Stefan humiliated Mr Tanner in front of the whole class. I laughed for about five minutes straight before finally calming down.
A car pulled up playing loud music, and my jaw nearly dropped to the ground. Caroline was in a car, getting dropped off by none other than Damon Salvatore. Before he drove off, I ran over to the car and went to the driver's side.
"Damon. I see you haven't texted me yet. I'm hurt," I complained playfully, while putting a hand to my chest in fake hurt.
"Sorry, but I've now got a girlfriend," Damon replied smirking. I burst into a fit of laughter and he looked at me as though I was crazy.
"I'm sorry, you misread the situation. I would never date you. You're not my type," I explained, smirking.
"Then what is your type?" Damon asked, clearly trying to prove me wrong. I looked over at the cgeerleading team to see Elena wasn't paying attention or listening aswell as Bonnie. I went closer to his ear as he smirked.
"Girls," I whispered in his ear before pulling away. He wore a shocked look on his face.
"Really?" He asked, shocked.
"Yep. But don't tell anyone. No one knows," I told him.
"I promise," He said.
"Good." Then I started to walk off before he called my name so I turned around.
"Why did you want me to text you then?" He asked, curious.
"You seem cool, fun and I believe we'd get along rather well," I replied smirking. He nodded, so I turned around and sat back down on the bleachers. Elena came next to me observing the game. Stefan was really good and was kicked everyone's asses.
"What are you doing? Shouldn't you be at cheer practise?" I asked my younger sister.
"Yeah. I couldn't keep up so Caroline asked me to just observe," Elena replied. I rolled my eyes.
"Well, she clearly can't notice real talent when she sees it," I told her. She smiled at me then focused back on the game. Tyler ended up bashing into Stefan, causing him to fall over. So I left, knowing nothing else interesting would happen there. I felt my phone vibrate and looked down to see what it was. It was a text. I opened my phone.
