"Call it again" Scott demands.
He has lost his phone again and we're trying to find it. He's been searching for the last hour in his bedroom and it's not here. "It's not here" i tell him.
"So you lost your phone" stiles shrugs, "why don't you just get a new one?"
"I can't afford a new one" Scott states "and I can't do this alone. We have to find Derek."
"A, you're not alone" I start "you have us. And B, didn't you say Derek walked into gunfire?"
"He sounds pretty dead" stiles shrugs.
"The argents plan was to use him to get the alpha" Scott reminds us, "they're not gonna kill him."
"So just let them do what they're planning" I suggest, "they use Derek to get Peter problem solved. They'll kill Peter then Derek, no more Hales to deal with,"
"Not if peter is going after Allison to find Derek" Scott states, "I can't protect her on my own. Which means we need to find Derek first, just help me."
I get hit in the head with a bouncy ball. "You probably lost it when you two were fighting" stiles suggests, "you remember that when he was trying to kill you? After you interrupted him trying to kill Jackson?"
"Are you starting to see a pattern of violent behaviour?" I ask.
"He wasn't going to kill anyone" Scott defends Derek, "and I'm not letting him die."
"Could you at least think about letting him die" stiles begs, "for me."
"Please Scott" i beg.
Scott turns his head. "What?" stiles asks.
"Mom just got home from work" Scott tells us.
"Is she okay?" I question, Scott shakes his head, "what's she doing?"
"Crying" Scott sighs.
"Scott you can't protect everyone" stiles says.
"I have to" Scott says.

"You want me to take her to the formal?" Jackson asks. Scott can't take Allison to the dance because of how many classes he's failing. Coach told him he can't go.
"I don't want you to. I need you to" Scott tells him.
"Screw you" Jackson says, "you know what screw you two too. In fact screw each other."
"You know he saved your life" Stiles tries to remind Jackson.
"He left me for dead" Jackson rephrases.
"I got shot for you" Scott snaps back.
"Oh yeah?" Jackson says "show me the bullet wound."
"You know it healed" Scott mutters.
"Convenient" Jackson says.
"Just do it for Allison" Scott begs, "she's in serious danger. I'm talking around-the-clock danger. And she needs someone to keep an eye on her at the dance."
