7th hour flew fast. I was shaking for what is going to happen in 35 minutes, the bell will ring dismissing students from homeroom.
Five minutes till class is dismissed. I start to pack my books into my backpack, eager to leave right when the bell rings. I steal a quick glance at Tanner who is messing around with Jones and Cameron. He hasn't noticed that I've started to pack up, that is to my advantage.
Two minutes left until the bell is going to ring. Okay, I need to stop worrying about this, what is he going to do? Dare me to do something if I lose the game? That doesn't sound to bad- the bell sounded and I sprang up from my seat. I rushed to the door with my bags in hand.
I made it out the door, just in time. I looked back to see if Tanner was behind me. I didn't see him, I hoped that he was at his locker. I turned back around and started to make my way to my car. I pressed the unlock from about twenty five feet away from it and started to walk faster. When I got to my car I went around to the drivers side and hopped in, slamming the door.
"You didn't think that you'd get away that easily did you?" Tanner spoke from the passenger's seat.
How in the Hell did he get he so fast? "I was hoping to."
"Ah. But you didn't," he smirked, "Now what are you going to do?"
"Get the Hell out of my car."
"Tell me Charlie." He looked into my eyes searching for him as I did the same.
"I don't know what you are talking about," I lied, I do but I don't want to confront it, "Why do you even care?"
"Start the car Charlie." he commanded.
"No," I crossed my arms over my chest and looked out the window, "Plea-ease get out."
"I said start the car!"
"Oh-h-okay." I started the engine. I was fearful of what he could do to me because I can fully remember the last time he threatened me.
-Flashback-
Tanner squeezed my butt again. I have had enough of him. I need to re-break up with him, now.
I looked at him from across the room, "Hey Tanner c-can we talk?" If looks could kill I would have forty two being stabbed into me.
"What is it?" He walked over near me, but his friends followed him.
I looked at them, "Al-Alone."
He looked his friends then he looked back at me, "I'd rather not."
"Fine I w-will say this in front of your... friends," he gave me a look that I couldn't read, then Jones whispered something is his ear and they both smirked.
"No, no. Come on, I know where we can talk," I followed him down the hall the a janitor closet. He opened that door and motioned for me to go in.
"Why?" I didn't want him to lock me in there.
"Chill, I won't lock you in there, I'm going in too," I gave him a uneasy look as I stepped in and he followed. He shut the door behind him and that's when I heard the lock click, "Hey! Unlock the door! Come on Jones!" Tanner yelled banging on the door. Even though he was a good actor I could tell this was his plan the whole time.
"What the Hell?!" I yelled at him. Wow, where did that confidence come from? But confidence didn't matter, I struggled to breathe as claustrophobia kicked in.
"What?" He gave me a look that clearly read innocence.
"Why-why did you do that?" he started to walk closer to me, I started to scoot back until my back hit a shelf holding cleaning supplies.
"You're not breaking up with me are you?" He whispered, putting his hands against the wall next to my head, trapping me where I was. My breathing got heavier, he got closer, "because that can't happen."
"S-stop it n-now," my stuttering problem talking my words over.
"Why? Am I scaring you?" He had a look in his eyes that I had never seen before, "I am, aren't I?" I looked away unable to move to much, "answer me when I talk to you."
"Wh-w-why are y-you act-ting like this?"
"That's not answer!" He pushed me harder against the wall.
I answered afraid what he might do if I don't, "y-yes."
He slammed his hands against the wall, "so you are trying to breakup with me?" The look on his face scared me half to death.
"Y...n-no" I shook my head fast.
He got closer, leaning in and kissing me on the nose. I turn away and he grabbed my face making me look at him, "good, because that wound be good," he backed away, and went to the door knocking, "Jones open up."
The door opens and Tanner steps out, "I think you've been a really bad girlfriend today, mind spending some more time with me?" I shook my head, "come on," he grabbed my hand leading me back to the class. I felt like I was going to throw up.
He sat down on a seat and grabbed my hip pulling me down on top of him, so I was sitting on his lap, "be good," he whispered in my ear, making me shiver.
-Flashback Over-
I hated 10th grade for that reason.
"Th-th-tha-thank y-yo-you," He said, teasing me. Tanner was a jerk. A complete jerk.
I was pissed of that he had desired to tease me about my speech problem of all things, "I mean seriously, w-what the fuck i-is w-wrong with you?"
"You still remember where I live right?" He asks smirking at me.
"Yeah I... I do," I said but I didn't want to go near his house.
"Good, just stop in that ally." He pointed to the ally that was coming up.
"Wh-what does that have to do with know-knowing where you leave?"
"I just wanted to know if you remembered, plus you are going to need to know it later."
"L-later?" He nodded his head, "no. Th-there is no later. This is the last t-ti-time I am ever go-going to tal-talk to you."
He chuckled, "Whatever you say."
We pulled into the ally. It was dark and gloomy outside and looked as if it might rain. I didn't like the fact that I was in a scary dark ally with me ex-boyfriend.
"Kay, get out of the car," Tanner said while opening up his door. He walked over to one of the brick walls that was part of a old shoe making store called Sally's New Shoes. I hesitantly walked over by him. In one swift motion he had me pinned to the wall, "lets play a game, yeah?"
