Chapter 20

Aaliyah POV

It was Monday morning and my alarm woke me up at 5:00 for work.
"Turn that shit off." Danny complained turning over.
"Sorry baby." I apologized turning the alarm off. I did my hygiene thing and then walked to my closet. I picked out my white Button up shirt, my blue jeans and my thigh high red bottoms with my leather jacket. I straightened my hair and parted it down the middle and grabbed my purse. Before I left the room I called the twins babysitter to come and watch them. I was headed out my bedroom door but Danny called me "Aaliyah."
"Yea." I said walking over to him because he was laying down half asleep.
"Where you going?" He mumbled.
"I have to go to work." I said playing with his hair.
"Stay home today." He said hugging my waist
"I can't."
"Why." He mumbled
"I've been home for two weeks already." I said
He sucked his teeth and said "Just go."
"Danny please don't be mad."
"I'm not. See you when you get home."
"I love you." I said walking out of the door.

Danny POV

Two hours after Aaliyah left I woke up did my hygiene and went to check in the kids with their babysitter. I peeked in the room and she was feeding them. I went to the trap and just chilled there with my boys.
Kim walked into the room and the tension was thick because I've been trying to avoid her before I went to jail because I didn't want to upset Aaliyah.
"Wassup Daniel." She said
"Sup." I said puffing my blunt
"Where the hell you been?"
"Lowkey." I said trying to make her walk away with my words.
Kim came and sat right next to me and I wasn't paying her no mind. I kept smoking my blunt and talking to Ray. Kim was taking pictures and I hope that I wasn't in them because I don't feel like getting into it with Aaliyah.

Aaliyah POV

"Hey." I said to the babysitter as I came in the house.
"Hello Aaliyah." She said with her thick accent.
"Where's Danny?" I asked
"He's at work."
"I'll be back." I said leaving the house. I wanted to see Danny, I know showing up at the trap outta nowhere will confuse him but I don't care. I drove to the trap and made my way inside.
"Excuse me!" Some guy grabbed me.
"Get the fuck off of me!"
"You can't go inside of here."
He said trying to push me but I slapped him and ran inside.
"Stop!!" He said chasing after me. I saw Danny sitting down so I ran to him. "Hi Danny." I said stoping infront of him out of breath.
"Baby what you doing here?"
"I wanted to see you."
"Is this your girl?" The guy said coming up behind us.
"Yeaa" Danny said to the guy causing him to walk away.
"Is this Aaliyah?" Some familiar looking girl said.
"Yeaa." Danny said smiling at me.
"Hi I'm Kim." She said holding out her hand, I just remembered where she was from. She's the same bitch that was posting pictures with Danny in the backround. I was wondering why he was in the room with her after I told him that I don't want him talking to her. I just simply walked away and went to my car.
"Aaliyah." Danny said following me to my car I got into my car but he got into the passengers seat.
"Get out of my car" I calmly said
"Not until you tell me what happen." He said facing me
"I have told you that I don't want you hanging out with her. and you do the opposite."
"I wasn't even talking to her Aaliyah."
"Danny." I said taking his hands.
"Yess baby?"
"I think we need a break."
"What!?" He asked shocked
"We just need a break, for a little while."
"Aaliyah can we atleast try to work it out." He pleaded
"This isn't a break up."
"What does this break exactly mean?"
"We still have to stay faithful, but we just need to live apart."
"I can't live without you."
"Danny-"
"I ain't taking no break. Ima be home tonight." He said leaving the car. I drove back in silence, since he don't wanna take a break then I guess we gonna have problems. I received a screenshot from Stacey, I stopped at a red light and opened the picture. Kim was taking a picture with Danny in the background once again! When I went home I packed the kids a little bag and took them to a hotel with me. I didn't need clothes because I could just buy some. Danny didn't want to take a break but I needed one. I paid for the best room in the hotel and went to the elavator carrying the twins.
"Button" Egypt said pointing at the emergency alarm.
"That's a bad button." I said to him smiling. We reached our floor and went inside the room. It was such a beautiful big room, it had three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This suite wasn't kid friendly because it had glass decorations everywhere. Aoki ran to the glass vase and held it.
"No Aoki." I said running to her and putting it back. Egypt was just sitting down so I picked him up and walked to the kitchen and ordered room service.
"Egypt you wanna eat?" I asked tickling him.
"Yes" He said laughing
"What you want?" I said smiling
"Ice cweam" He said happily
As I placed the order in.
"Aoki!" I yelled
"Mama." She said clapping her little hands walking into the kitchen.
"What you want to eat?"
"Pisa." She said clapping.
"Ok." I said ordering their food.
After we ate, we watched a movie and they fell asleep so I placed them in the bed that I was sleeping in and then went to the tv room. I knew Danny would be texting me non-stop sooner or later. My phone buzzed.

😘Baby~I miss you and the kids.

I read the text messages he had sent me. I missed him too but I just need some space.

Danny POV

I didn't know Aaliyah was serious about this taking a break shit. I missed her ass and I missed the twins, she better get her little two days of break in and then she is coming home. I tried to track her phone but she turned the privacy setting off, I tried tracking her credit cards but she used cash to check into whatever hotel she was staying in. The condo has been filled with silence and sadness ever since she left and it's been TWO WEEKS!! I've been asking her if we could meet up but she refuses. Today ima ask her again tho.
"Hello." She said into the phone. I missed her voice
"Can you please meet me at Stacey's bar today?" I asked but she stood quiet, I knew she was thinking about the idea. She sighed and said "Ok" then hung up. I was soo happy that she finally decided to meet up with me, I jumped out of bed and took a 10 minute shower. I threw on my black nike sweatsuit with my white 11s and headed out the door. I drove to Stacey's bar and waited at the bar for Aaliyah. 6 minutes past and there she was walking through the door looking beautiful. She had on a white Gucci dress and white red bottoms with her hair curled. She sat in front of me at the bar and didn't say a word, instead she just sipped her drink.
"Hi." I said
"Hi." She said flipping her hair over her shoulders.
"I see you got your necklace on." I said referring to the necklace I bought her.
"Does this even mean something to you?" She asked
"Does it?"
"I'm asking you."
"Yeaa." I said, she nodded her head.
"I miss you."
"Who is this girl Kim?" She asked.
"That's my friend." I said avoiding eye contact and sipping my drink.
"Look at me." She said turning my face towards her with her hands. I missed her touch.
"Did ya ever fuck before?"
"In the past." I confessed
"To be honest with you, I feel disrespected because you sitting with this hoe and taking pictures-"
"I didn't know she was taking pictures of me baby." I said trying to grab her hand but she pulled it away.
"Why were you even hanging out with her!? If you fucked her before then why would you think it's okay to hang out with her?!" She said getting angry
"Im sorry and I'm here to tell you that I cut her off. Me and her are no longer friends anymore."
"You sure?" She asked with her arms folded
"I'm sure." I said
"Okay." She said sipping her drink
"Now give me a hug." I demanded.
"Ughh ok." She said getting up from her chair and hugging me around my neck. I hugged her back grabbing her ass and kissing her neck.
"Not here." She said pulling away smiling.
"Do a spin for me." I said because her ass was looking RIGHT. She did a full spin in front of me and my eyes were glued to her ass. I pulled her into another hug and asked
"Do you love me?"
"Yessss." She said then kissed my neck.
"Let's go." I said
"Hold on." She said gulping her drink before she left. I laughed at her and then followed her to the hotel that she was staying at.
