Chapter 9

Stacey POV

"See! Why can't we be like them!?" I yelled at Michael
"What you mean!"
"Nothing Michael!" I said giving up. I watched Aaliyah and Danny make out wishing that I was in that situation. The cab driver stopped at the pharmacy and Danny got out the car and opened the door for her and carried her out the car bridal style into the store. Five minutes later Danny came storming out of the pharmacy with Aaliyah behind him. They got into the car and started arguing. "Don't fucking play with me Aaliyah!" Danny yelled
"Danny shut the fuck up I didn't even do shit."
"You was flirting with that bum ass nigga at the cash register."
"Danny no I wasn't!! Your being over the top right now."
"Nahh go be with him" He yelled at her. "Danny stop" She whined rubbing his arm but he pulled it away "Don't fucking touch me" He said looking out the window, Aaliyah whispered something in his ear that I couldn't hear and he started smiling. He hugged her and they started kissing again.
"Did you guys even get the condoms?" I asked
"No because AALIYAH was flirting with her boyfriend at the cash register." Danny said
"You better not start this shit again" Aaliyah said giving him a warning look making him stop. "Ii baee I'm sorry." Danny said kissing her.

Aaliyah POV

Danny is fucking sexy when he gets mad. Any little thing sets him off. When we were arguing in the car Stacey was staring at us the whole time which was creepy. We pulled up to the side of the house and Michael and Stacey started arguing again.
"Listen! We about to go in the house and ya niggas can't be making no noise." I said before we got out the car.
"Ii" Michael said. Danny paid the cab driver and we got out the car and ran to the window. We climbed through the window and all fell on the floor. I fell on top of Danny and we all laughed loudly causing Maria to yell down stairs.
"What's going on down there!"
We all got scared and ran to our beds and got under the covers and the room was filled with low laughter. Maria went away and we all changed into our night clothes and I got into bed with Danny.
"Danny." I said hugging him under the covers.
"Yess Liyah." He said
"I love you."
"Love you too."

Danny POV

The sun was smacked across my face because the blinds was open. Aaliyah was sleeping on my chest and her hair was all over me. I pushed her hair to the side and played with it. It was 2:00 in the afternoon and the rest of them was still asleep. I got out of the bed because I was tired of laying down, I walked to the bathroom and took care of my hygiene. I walked upstairs to the kitchen and made cereal. After I ate I started watching tv, 30 minutes later I heard Stacey banging two pots together and singing a reggae song. I walked towards the kitchen to see what the fuck was going on and I see Aaliyah dancing and laughing. Michael came up behind me and said to Stacey "Can I talk to you for a minute?" Aaliyah and I excused them and went to the living room.

Aaliyah POV

I was walking to the living room with Danny because Michael wanted to talk to Stacey. "Where's Mama Ria?" I asked Danny referring to Maria
"I don't even know." He said on his phone. I decided that I was going to tell Danny about me leaving tomorrow, I was leaving because I wanted to see my friends back at home and spend time with them.
"Danny I'm leaving home tomorrow" I blurted out
"What! Why?" He said
"Because I want to see my friends and-"
"What about us!?" He looked at me in my eyes.
"What you mean?"
"I don't do that long distance shit!"
"Danny-"
"Aaliyah please just atleast stay with me for the rest of the summer. You can see those bitches when you get back"
"Danny! Don't be disrespectful"
"I'm sorry baby but I really want to spend the rest of the summer with you."
"Danny-"
"It's either you stay with me for the rest of the summer or you can go with your little friends."
"Danny please don't put me in a situation like that. it's not that easy." I whined
"Pick!" He said standing in my face. I sighed and looked down
"I need to go home Danny."
He nodded his head and said "Ok Aaliyah, I wish you nothing but the best." After he said that I knew it was over. I kissed him on his cheek and went to go pack my things. I called my mom and asked her to pick me up in 30 minutes because I just couldn't stay here another night. "Are you sure you have to leave?" Stacey asked
"Yeaa" I said sighing
"How did Danny react?" Stacey asked "Not soo good." I said zipping my suitcase. "When you coming back?" Michael asked. "I don't think I'm ever coming back again." I said honestly. They shook heir head and went to the living room. I heard beeping outside and it was my mom. I walked to the living room with my bags
"Can you give me a minute?" I asked Stacey and Michael so that I could talk to Danny "Danny I know that you don't agree with my decision and I'm hoping that one day you will forgive me but I gotta go, I love you." I said to him while he didn't even look my way. I walked to my mothers car and she was on the phone with Maria telling her that I was leaving. I got into the car and stared at the house that I stayed at every summer with the boy that I loved. My mom was driving away and I felt regret.
