Chapter 25

"We need more IV drips!"

"She's dead..."

"Sir, please just go and lay down again! They'll be fine!"

I opened my eyes abruptly, quickly closing them as soon as I got blinded by the lights that were dangling above me.

I groaned and sat up, looking down at my arms. They were covered in bandages and I have an IV drip. I looked over to the side and saw Yuri laying in bed, Mayu had her head near to her, stroking her hand.

"Y/N! You shouldn't be awake right now!"

I turned my head and saw Yuka coming through the door, holding a bottle of water and some chips. He set the food down and quickly walked over to me to sit down on the bed.

"Yuka... Hey, how are you? This- This seems familiar." I laughed a bit and looked around the hospital room. Yuka chuckled a bit and gripped onto my hand.

"I'll go get the nurs-"

"What happened?"

Yuka's breath hitched a bit and he looked over at Yuri and Mayu. He sighed and looked down at his lap. "I'll make it quick since they have to run some tests on you."

Yuka started explaining how after I subconsciously gave him the command to kill Kuon he did it. The servant ran over to her, but she was losing so much blood so quickly that she was slowly dying. He said he didn't remember much, but he woke up in a grass field surrounded by ambulances, police cars, and everyone else who was in the realm along with Kuon.

On the way to the hospital, Kuon was pronounced dead and Yuri had to undergo surgery due to the wound. She'll be okay, since our powers still reside in us, the healing process should be faster...

"Y/N, I need to take some tests okay?" A nurse came into the room, holding a tray of stuff. I sighed and got up to start walking towards her. She gave me a little plastic cup and I made my way to the bathroom.

I peed in the little cup and then made my way into a separate room so they could take some blood. Yuka was next to me the entire time, making sure that I didn't hurt myself.

"Here, let me open the door for you..." He whispered, quickening his pace so he could open the door. I smiled at him and walked back into the room.

"I'm fine, Yuka, I only have bandages in my arms, and I'm barely aching. I should be able to go back home soon!" I smiled at him, to which he responded by blushing a bit and laying his hand on my lap.

The nurse came in and pulled me out into a separate room. She closed the door and sat down on the chair. "What happened? Did I get diabetes or something? It's Yuka's fault all he buys is cak-"

"Miss Makoto..."

"It's L/N- Well for now." I chuckled a bit and leaned up against the wall, looking at the nurse. The nurse gave me an awkward smile and walked up to me, holding out her hands. She took my hand and smiled.

"You're pregnant!"

"..."

The silence in the room was excruciating... The nurse's smile slowly went down to a confused face and I stood there, eyes widened, and my heart was racing. I giggled a bit and checked to see if I had headphones in.
