My name is Ashlan, but you can just call me Ash. I created my Wattpad account in 2019, but I have been reading for my whole life. I've read books from a wide variety genres and authors. In my opinion, the best stories draw me into their world.

I'll read almost any genre except for some fanfics. I'm not familiar with most fandoms, but you can leave a comment here to ask about which ones I do know.

I focus on three main things.
❈ First, aspects of the writing itself. I mean spelling, grammar, sentence flow, style, and usage of dialogue/descriptions. A story with a great writer is one step closer towards success!
❈ Second, aspects of the characters. I mean development, relationships, and emotions. Characters need to be interesting, relatable (on some level), and realistic to catch a reader's attention and keep them hooked.
❈ Third, aspects of the story. I mean plot, plot twists, scenes, flow, cliffhangers, creativity, and originality. The story is what makes a book stand out from the others.
