Dear James,

You're getting married tomorrow.

I'm fitted for my bridesmaid dress, and Marlene's the maid of honor.

I get along decently with her, and also with Lily.

Paige can tell something's wrong, but won't say anything about it.

Is it bad that I want her to? That I want her or you or anyone to reach out to me and ask whether I'm alright?

It's selfish, that's what it is. I'm not going to bring these problems onto you when you're getting married to the love of your life tomorrow.

The war is also going terribly.

I've joined the Order of the Phoenix, so have you.

It's dangerous. Really dangerous.

But what do I have to lose?

Love,

Ophelia
