Zak, Pete, and Killian were walking down town and shopping at random stores. They were truly enjoying themselves, because they had recently been demon free and it was the time of their lives.
"Okay, so what happened with Heath?" Pete asked digging through Miles' diaper bag, which he had a habit of carrying around.
"He has locked himself into his recording studio." Zak sighed. "He won't talk to anyone, but the his sons and occasionally Dusk and Kion."
"And poor Thomas, he tries to cope with it day to day, but he is just as depressed as Heath is. And to me, he is taking it extremely well." Killian stated turning his head as they continued to window shop.
"Well, Thomas has always been patient and understanding with Heath, so that is no surprise to me." Pete spoke. "A lot more understanding than Allen."
"Speaking of. How is that going?" Zak asked keeping an eye out for his surroundings.
"I have been avoiding the two, also." Pete spoke honestly. "They expect me to just answer their proposals off the bat when I don't even know who either one of them are anymore."
"Yeah, that is very understandable." Killian stated.
"But you do need to make a choice, because with the life we live their is no guarantee that we will be alive tomorrow and you don't want to miss out on loving the person who was meant to be for you." Zak stated lightly.
"Oh, yeah? What about you, Bruce, and Tristan?" Pete injected.
"Bruce has all the power in his hand to make us happen, but yet he is still choosing this elder bullshit over me, and I am just not even with it anymore." Zak sighed, he wanted his mate all the time but he felt as if Bruce didn't and it hurt him to the core. "You guys feel something?"
"Like what?" Pete asked, as he and Killian looked over to Zak.
"Like a shift in the environment." Zak stated feeling weird about something. Then their was a loud noise, and a swarm of people rush towards the cousins, Pete accidentally froze the ones who were about to collide with them, but no one noticed because they were too busy trying to get away from whatever was further down the road.
Zak, Pete, and Killian rushed forward and went to see what was going on. A robot was terrorizing people, the robot eyes were a demonic red and he was glaring at everyone in his sights.
"Pete, blow him up." Zak said in a commanding tone. Pete tired to blast the robot, but it had no affect on him. The robot trained his eyes onto the three and shot a laser bolt from his eyes at them.
As the bolt neared, Zak twirled out of the way and used strong winds to blast Killian and Pete out of the way. Zak glared at the robot and sky quickly darkened and lightning started jumping around in the clouds. Zak was showing the robot that he wasn't intimidated and that seemed to piss the robot off even more, as he shot a fast laser at Zak, but before the laser could reach, Pete froze it. Zak simply waved his hand and thick lightning rained down on the robot, causing him to explode.
"What the hell was that?" Pete asked walking up to Zak.
"I have no idea." Zak said looking around.
