It was Friday night and there was a jamming party in the main hall. The jocks, cheerleaders, etc were all dancing, grinding on each other, drinking, smoking, and other crazy things that happened at high school parties. The teachers had went home or the weekend, so the children were all alone and not really supervised, because security was being distracted by some of the more sexualized students.
Outside of the main hall, there was a kid in charge of watching and guarding the door, standing around with his friend. Another student, who would have been classified as a nerd or a geek, walked up and tried to approach the door.
