   Lucas's POV:
    The bell for our science class rings, and I notice Maya and Riley aren't here. A few minutes into class, they walk in together.
   Maya glances over at me and I giver a smile. She smiles back.

   Maya's POV:
   After the exit bell for the very boring science class rings, which is luckily the last class, I go to my locker and get my bag.
   I shut my locker back, and Lucas approaches me with a smile. "Hey Maya."
   "Hey, cowboy," I return one. "Guess what?"
   "What?"
   "So, I talked to Riley," I tell him. "And it turns out she's cool with us."
   "Wait, really?" he asks surprised.
   "Yep." I nod.
   "Well, I guess I can do this then," he grins and grabs my hand. "Maya Hart, will you be my girlfriend?"
   "Sure, why not," I tease and give him a hug.

   Riley's POV:
   Alright. Here I go. Asking Farkle out.
   I've been thinking about this for hours now. I'm not really worried about him saying no, because he doesn't bother hiding his crushes on Maya and I since the first grade. In fact, I should feel really confident right now.
   I gather up all of my nerves and let out a big breath before quickly walking up to Farkle, who's getting his stuff out of his locker.
   "Hey Farkle," I say, trying hard to stay my casual cheery self.
   "Riley!" he exclaims. "Hey!"
   "I wanted to ask you something. It's...kinda important."
   "What is it, Riley?"
   "Well...I wanted to know if you want to...go out?" I hesitate.
   "Your asking...me?" he asks with a slack jaw.
   "Yeah. I really like you Farkle." I say.
   "R-really?"
   "Uh-huh," I nod.
   "Well, in that case," he says. "Do I gotta spell it out for ya?? You're Maya or Riley, yeah I'll go out with you!"
   I smile.
   "How about we go on a date?" he asks.
   "Yeah! It can be a double date with Lucas and Maya." I beam.
   "Maya and Lucas are dating?" Farkle questions, confused.
   "Yeah. I overheard Lucas and Maya in the hallway. He asked her out."
   "And she said yes?"
   "Yeah, I know right? Surprising." I laugh.
   "Very." he nods.
   "Well, Ill go talk to them about the double date. How about tomorrow at 8:00?"
   "Sure! I'll see you then."
   "Alright." I smile.

   Lucas's POV:
   Maya and I walk side by side outside of the school. "Hey, so, you want me to walk you home?"
   "Nah, I'm fine."
   "Why don't you ever want me to? I wanna see your house." I say.
   "Trust me, you don't," she shakes her head. "But thanks for asking."
   "Do you want to come to my house?" I ask.
   I feel like when I'm not with Maya something bad might happen. She doesn't make her life at home sound very safe, or happy.
   "Maybe."
   "Please?" I beg playfully.
   "Fine," Maya giggles. "I'll be there around 6:30."
   "See you then." I say.
   "Alrighty, cowboy." she smiles.
   I give her a quick hug and get home to get ready.

   Maya's POV:
   I was actually pretty excited to go to Lucas's house. I get to spend the rest of this miserable school day with him. Relaxing.
   Interrupting my thoughts, Riley runs up from behind me. I don't stop walking, so she links arms with me and walks along.
   "Maya guess what!" she chimes.
   "What?" I smile at her glowing expression.
   "I'm dating Farkle!"
   "Really? Riles, thats awesome!" I say.
   "Yeah! And...we were hoping we could all go on a double date tomorrow?" Riley asks. "You know, Lucas and you, Farkle and me."
   "Sounds cool, I'm in." I reply.
   "Great! I'll see you tomorrow Maya."
   "Okay. Bye Riles."
   "Bye Maya!" she slips her arm away from mine and runs back towards the direction of the school.
   Huh. I think. My first date with Lucas.
