season 7, episode 3 - age of innocence

ALTHOUGH THE HERETICS HAVE STOPPED torturing Olivia, it didn't help the ache she felt in her heart when she read the journals. She knew about his past lovers, Katherine Pierce and Elena Gilbert but she never imagined there'd be a third. After Stefan had written about meeting Valerie at the county fair, he never stopped writing about her. She couldn't help but feel envious and insecure.

The vibrating phone on the floorboard cause Olivia to look down at it before she reached for the phone and answered it, "Hello?"

"Olivia?" Stefan's voice echoed through the phone causing Olivia to let out a sigh of relief, "How are you on my phone right now?"

"You'd probably dropped it when you flew away from the window." Olivia informed him with a small chuckle, her eyes trained on the journal on the floor.

"How are you?" He asked, his tone laced with concern, "Are you okay?"

"Well, I'm spelled into our room by a menagerie of mean girls but other than that, I'm fine." Olivia informed him, she didn't want to mention the journal, she couldn't but she wanted to hear it from him.

"I know. I'm still trying to figure out a way to get into the house." Stefan sighed.

"It's okay. I'll be fine, just make sure Damon doesn't kill any more Heretics, okay?"

"I will." Stefan promised, "Lily's only keeping you there to turn me against Damon. I'll convince her that I hate his guts and she'll have made her point."

Olivia nodded but she forgot he couldn't see her, she didn't understand why she doubted his love for her, after all she was the one wearing an engagement ring and not Valerie, not Elena and definitely not Katherine. Yet she couldn't help but think of his journal.

Olivia hesitated, "Wh-Who's Valerie Tulle? You wrote about her in your journal from 1863. She found a copy of it in the prison world."

Silence. Stefan was taken back by the sudden mention of the name, "Are you talking about one of the Heretics?"

"Yeah, dirty-blonde hair, blue eyes..." Olivia continued on before adding, "She's one of my new psycho housemates."

Suddenly Valerie appeared behind her and squeezed the hand as Olivia's skin began to sizzle. Valerie repeated the words Olivia uttered, "Dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, psycho." as she watched Olivia groan in pain, "Summarized me to a T."

As the line went dead Stefan called out to his fiancée, "Olivia? Liv? Babe, are you there?"

She was about to hit Olivia in the face but the hybrid was much faster and caught her leg causing the Heretic to fall to the floor. Valerie eyed the journal on the floor before picking it up and held it up, "How do you have this?"
