Jenny's POV

Its been two hours since we've been trapped in this place. The heater is still working which is good but there's no food here.

"I'm hungry."

"Me too" Darryl leaned back on the cold floor beside me.

"I feel like this is a waste of time. I went through this wild goose chase to find Captain Eo who could be possibly dead."

"Hey! Don't say that, your friend could be alive out there. He's probably waiting on you to find him or he's probably looking for you. Either way, don't give your hopes up."

I smiled weakly "thanks, I needed that."

I nevered noticed how handsome Darryl was. He was wearing all black, short sleeve shirt, long trench coat, pants, & shoes. He was hair was straight, flowing down his back. His vanilla skin was smooth like butter. Sharp jawline that can cut a piece of paper. Perfectly arched eyebrows that gave him a smug look. Full pink lips that were kissable.

Awe, he reminds me of a older version of Captian Eo. Much  attractive & mature Captain Eo. He sense my staring & grin.

"See something you like?"

I blushed, he caught me. "Sorry, you just look so much like captain eo."

"Do you have a picture of him?"

I felt around my pocket, a folded up wrinkly photo of captain eo before he got his captian license. Can't believe I still have this on me despite the hell I went through for the past days.

"Eh, he kinda looks like me."

I chuckled "he was a happy guy. Always dancing around & having fun. His ship was his pride & joy. Also his home too. He was rich enough to pay himself a house but he kept & sometime donated it. He said that he would save that money for retirement. He really loved his job as a captain. Thats what I like about him the most. His personality."

"You really do love him, don't you?"

"I do but I guess I won't be able to tell him that."

"You will, don't worry."

"Darryl, did you have someone special in your life?"

"Sexual relations-wise? No. But family wise? Yes. My sister, Damita Jo. She was my best friend in the entire world. I miss her so much."

"What happened to her?"

"The disease, thats what happened. I tried to get her away from this city before it spread but I was too late. Its all my fault that she's gone."

"Hey, don't blame yourself for that."

"I just wish I can bring her back somehow."

He leaned against my shoulder. Some of his hair fell in front of his beautiful face. His chocolate eyes glowed into the light above us. For some reason, I have the sudden urge to kiss him.

The heater went out with flames in the air. We quickly got out of the way before it could do any more damage. Now, we were back cold again. I shivered as Darryl tried to fix the heater.

The sound of growling made me nervous. The Lebrows were back again but this time they were banging on the boarded door. I tugged onto Darryl's arm gripping it as we stepped back.

"Darryl?"

"We have to leave now."

"How? There's no backdoor or a fire exit."

"We have to hide then."

"There's a empty room in the back. We can hide there."

He grabbed my hand & we ran to the back. By the time we got to the back, they broke down the door. We went in the room & locked the door. I can hear the lebrows walking around, smelling for our scents, planning a good meal with us in it.

"What are we going to do?" I whispered.

"I don't know" he whispered back.

"We can't hide here forever they'll eventually find us & eat us."

He let out a shaky breath before leaning onto the wall. Then, he disappeared into thin air. My mouth was gaped opened at what I just saw. Did he just disappear? Just like that? Am I hallucinating? What did I take? But my crazed mind went back to sansity as I saw Darryl come back.

He had a shock expression upon his face. "What happened? Are you okay?"

"There's something behind these walls!"

"What did you see?"

"I saw the constellation. I was nearly close to it that I could almost touch it."

"Constellation?" I gasped "thats the galaxy! My home!"

Loud banging made my happy thoughts disappear. They found us!

"We need to leave right now!"

"Come on!"

I grabbed ahold of Darryl's hand. Together we jumped through the wall before the lebrows bursted in.
