A new, slightly AU retelling/reworking of the classic Captain Eo story that we all know and love starring Michael Jackson as the title character. What happens when Captain Eo and his ragtag bunch wax futile in their initial attempt to administer the gift to the Supreme Leader? What will befall the infamous captain and his crew when they suddenly find themselves at the queen's mercy? Note: The first few chapters of this story are very much like the original story, but hang on; the AU elements of this retelling will be in full force by Chapter 3. Observatory and opinionated comments congruent with the laws of basic etiquette and general respect are welcome, all others will be ignored.

When the peaceful planet of Verdania falls to the iron grip of the Dominion, Princess Erinome is stolen from her home, her blood the key to awakening an ancient power buried deep within her world. The planet is about to be under attack by the evil alien nation known as the Vaexuns, who take over planets and enslave its inhabitants for their own gain. Marula's queen Nadine Aumurello refuses to back down without a fight for her planet and people. But there is a fear that her army isn't enough. In comes Captain EO and his crew ready to complete the mission and aid Marula in the oncoming attack. The captain meets Nadine, who disguises herself as a handmaiden to protect her people and he falls for her hard. She can't help but reciprocate the handsome man's feelings. But with her royal status hidden from him and her planet in danger, can Captain EO and Queen Nadine stay focused on the task at hand? Or can they give in to their growing feelings for one another?

The story behind Captain EO from the perspective of the Supreme Leader, and reimagined if she fled from his takeover and redesign of her world. In her eyes, an outsider showed up and demanded she change her world and her ways with no prior context nor understanding of why she runs things the way she does. In his eyes, her planet is desolate and polluted, dreary and life could be so much more for her and her people. Will she ever understand?

The only problem is that Bog's unfinished assignment may be too much for Eo to bear, affecting the alignment of the universe. On Earth, superstar Michael Jackson struggles with writing his new album and meets a rising model for his new short film. Quickly, he finds himself wanting to be more than coworkers. However, they both can't shake the feeling that they've met before....

Written a while ago so I know its not very good and not as descriptive as it could be, it was just an idea of a younger me, haha. it's not complete either but I don't really know what else to add to it.
