The days that followed were filled with gushy plans that Ally and Liam couldn't wait to get started on, but Sage was a little preoccupied in terms of getting things ready for the incoming family.

It was her job, after all, to get the necessary preparations settled for the transferring family—Although Mikey was a big help, as he wanted his brother back and badly. It was clear that Max didn't plan on staying forever.
Just for a few months as Mikey needed some coaching on his wolf.

The night before, however, Sage was on the brink of sleep but couldn't find a comfortable position it lay in. And an annoyed growl passed from Remus and his wolf, he didn't want his female to keep moving around—As it was waking him up.

After another five minutes, Sage gave up. She began rubbing her eyes and walked off to the hallway bathroom knowing that their bedroom's light would wake him up again.

It was there that she made the decision to sleep in her art room, the large bed all to herself seemed appetizing and her growling and overheated mate was too overbearing when she wanted to be sprawled out.

Whining mutt, I can feel how uncomfortable you are all the way in hell.

Hell far away?

It's not a walk in the park Wolfie, have to be dead to get in—Unless you have other means to get through the gates. But that's apart of the special cases.

Can I visit?

You do visit, just not your physical body. Have to have special permission cause your body or soul isn't used to it.

Oh. But you can leave when you want?

Of course, it takes a lot of energy and I'm saving that in the event you do need me to come up there and throw some fireballs. I haven't been slacking on my training, I can promise you that!

Sage hummed one last time before she fell asleep, only it didn't take long for Remus to come shuffling in with sleep in his eyes. "Munchkin?" She let out a softer hum than the last and peeked an eye open.

"Bigger bed."
"Kicked me out sleeping with you, huh?"
"Wolfie growled at me, you need sleep." Low and behold a new growl escaped her and she giggled.

"Can't sleep if you're hungry Sagey, how about I make a sandwich?" It earned him a second eye to open as she pushed herself to sit up. "Middle of night."
"So? Pup's hungry when the pup's hungry, they don't follow that schedule. In your belly or when they get here. Not when they're that little." After another yawn, she started to follow him downstairs—But only when he turned the light on and checked around for intruders and such.

As if an intruder would even get into the house in the first place.

She felt oddly guilty in having her mate wake up alone and then offered to make her a sandwich, but her mouth watered at the sight of the tomatoes.

"That a yes on the extra tomatoes?" Another growl escaped her stomach as she slapped a hand over her mouth. "Pup likes tomatoes."

Remus said something under his breath about having to grow their own at the rate she was eating them, and she smiled at the idea. She should add that to her garden plans as well.

It wasn't much longer when he presented her with a heft sandwich filled with lettuce, tomatoes, ham, and mayo. She smiled her thanks before diving into it, which left Remus to sit across from her with a tired smile on his face as he tried to sit up.
