Hey guys. I know I haven't been active lately, but I had to make this chapter for a reason. For one, like my other stories, I lost complete interest in finishing this series up, since I don't have any ideas after episode 5. Second, I'm really pissed about what the band has done to us as the fans. For those who don't know, Gorillaz are a part of the NFTS, which is not only useless and really unnecessary, but it also destroys the environment that they "cared" for so much. Them not addressing the NFTS and selling cheap polo shirts for crap money goes against what they were against, what they didn't want to become. I don't know if Damon and Jamie were involved with this. For all I know, people are saying that their marketing team are the ones a part of the NFTS, but only time will tell. But for the time being, will their history legendary? Yes. Are the songs instant classics? Of course. But did they sell out into something that Plastic Beach was about? Sadly, yes, and until we get an actual statement of what they were thinking, Gorillaz content will no longer be here. Fortunately, for the people that did enjoy this, I will keep this story up for you. But for the time being, Gorillaz became money hungry assholes that never cared about the fans, and are now going against everything albums, such as Plastic Beach, was potraying, and therefore, this series will be discontinued. Thank you for understanding.
Update: I just found out that the marketing team for the band decided to cancel the idea the moment we complained about it. My love for Gorillaz is back, and maybe my courage to finish this story is back too. We'll see
