Andrea reported to work on Monday with a smile on her face – something that hardly ever happens, even her weekend went pleasant. It was all probably because of how well the dinner went at Kevin's place. For once, Rose didn't bother her at all. Second, Craig is such a pleasant man to meet, and third and most importantly, Lorenzo was such a delight for the first time. His comment still lingers in her mind. "I prefer the annoying you," she recalled. Andrea couldn't tell if he was being serious. He was the one who would always point out how annoying she was and how much he disliked her, she wondered what changed. Also, she was able to see a little deeper in him the other day. Their surprisingly pleasurable conversation made her nervous. It was like seeing him from another's perspective. The other night, it didn't feel like Andrea ever knew Lorenzo before – maybe she never truly did.

"You are in a good mood," Amanda muttered as she walked past Andrea, who snapped out of her happy thoughts. She looked at her boss and let out a chuckle, "Uh, yes – it's nothing." Andrea shrugged. Amanda hummed before she walked into her office. Andrea looked at her wristwatch. Amanda was late today – that hardly ever happens. Perhaps she had something important to cover or maybe she was just feeling lazy – Nevertheless, Andrea's job started for the day as soon as her boss walked in. She walked to her office and knocked on the door before she entered. Amanda was on the phone with someone, she lifted her finger in the air – asking Andrea to wait. Andrea sighed and nodded her head.

Looking at Amanda reminded her of Martin, the memory of him touching her thigh came to her mind – causing her to get the sickening feeling in her stomach. Andrea is yet to speak about it with anyone. She hasn't discussed it with her sister nor with her friends. As the days passed, Andrea wonder if it was truly an honest mistake. Maybe if she doesn't let anyone else know about it. But she might tell Martin if she gets unfortunate to see him again, that she didn't like the way she was touched the other day, just so he wouldn't repeat his mistake. "Listen, I don't have time for this, okay? I will talk to you when I home. Bye." Amanda spoke dismissively before she cut off the call and put her phone on the desk. Andrea reckoned she was on a call with her husband or someone from her family. She didn't look so pleased with the conversation, but that was not to Andrea's concern – she could get nosy with her boss's personal life.

Amanda placed both her hands on the desk and intertwined her fingers, "I have a meeting with Mrs. Fultz?" Amanda asked. Her bold red statement lips gave her the sharper look when she raised her eyebrow at her assistant. Andrea nodded her head, "Yes, you do." She replied. "Lunch or after lunch?" Amanda fired another question. "Lunch," Andrea answered. "You will be joining us," Amanda commanded to which Andrea heaved a sigh and nodded her head. There goes her plan for a peaceful lunch break. "You can leave now," Amanda pointed towards her door. Andrea nodded and turned around to leave when Amanda spoke again, "By the way, I kept my promise." She said. Andrea turned around and looked at her questionably, "I am sorry?" She confused. Amanda exhaled and stood from her chair – fixing her pencil shirt. "I promised to recommend you for the new advertisement and digital marketing team and I did what I said." Andrea's eyes widened with glee, but before she could express her gratitude Amanda spoke again, "I only recommended you, it doesn't mean that you are selected – they decide to make now." She added.

Andrea smiled and nodded her head, "I understand, but thank you for even recommending me to them." She showed her gratitude. Amanda without even a hint of smile nodded her head, "I didn't do it because you reported to me on a weekend, I did it because I see potential." She informed Andrea. Andrea grinned at Amanda's comment – for the first time she wasn't hating on this woman. "Now, leave." Amanda waved her dismissively. Andrea wasn't a stranger to Amanda's rudeness, so she thanked her again and finally left the room. She did a little happy dance after looking at if anyone was around – luckily for her the path was clear. She usually hates Monday, but today was turning to be a better day. With a huge grin on her face, she went back to work.
