Chapter 17 - Final Rival: Zaneri Druid

School changed the moment King and I entered.everyone was terrified and no one spoke to one other

I admit,this is all my fault.if no one is talking then that means that senpai will never talk to me again!!

When King and I walked in class,it was silent and I saw Theo Druid standing by my desk

I walked to him and placed my bag down.he didn't say a word and just motioned me to follow him

I followed him to the student council office and all the members were there.he closed the door and everyone was just staring at me

This made me feel really uncomfortable and I'm starting to think that I'm in trouble

"Elizabeth,please have a seat" Theo said

I sat down on the couch and all the members stood in front of me.I stared down at my hands on my thighs and gulped hard

"Sorry if we're making you uncomfortable but we have questions to ask you" Helbram Forest said

I looked at him and nodded and waited for the questions they wanted to ask me

"It's about the 9 girls who you have a connection with" Slader Dawn said

"Let's start with Diane Envy.you two were in the same class and you also became friends in the first week.she was expelled on her second day of school cause of lewd photos on her phone,stealing and smoking.the Guidance Counselor told us that you reported two of those crimes to her" Zaneri Druid said

"I can explain.I may be Diane's friend but I was really worried about her health and everything.I caught her smoking on school grounds and I just had to tell someone.and about her phone,she lost it and I offered to help her look for it.I found it somewhere on school and decided to give it to the Guidance Counselor cause the bell almost rang the day and I'm not a very fast runner" I explained

"You're not exactly wrong about the running.you never take part in sports" Theo said

"Next is Guila Holyknight.she was the leader of the cooking club before she died.you were in the cooking club for two days till it was announced that Guila was found dead in the girl's bathroom.my sister said that after Guila tasted your cupcake,she didn't look good at all and was later found dead.the nurse said that she was poisoned.tell me,do you have some kind of grudge against her?" Zaneri asked,glaring at me

"I never had a grudge against Guila! And besides,I only joined the cooking club so it could improve my cooking skills.I'm not that good at cooking.maybe Guila only got food poisoning cause my cupcake looked moldy and old compared to all the other member's cupcakes" I said

"Jenna did show me a picture of the cupcake" Zaneri sighed

"Did you really think that I'd do something like that to Guila?" I asked

"Something was just off about you,that's why I thought you poisoned Guila.my reason is that you didn't join any clubs last year and all of a sudden this year you decide to join the cooking club" she answered

"Last year wasn't a great year for me.that's why I didn't join any clubs that year" I said

"Now we get to Vivian Mage" Helbram said

"There's not really much I can say about her.we never talked to each other but we did meet last year and for some unknown reason she didn't like me.I asked her countless times if I did something wrong but she never said anything.she may have had a grudge against me but I don't have anything against her,I swear" I said

"On Monday the third week of school,my childhood friend King Envy who's Diane's cousin,visited me that day and thats also the same day that I met Theo and all the other new boys including the new teacher and nurse" I explained
