The Trash Bag Killer

"Where are they?" Jughead said as he sat across the Pops table from Veronica wondering where Archie and Betty are. "They're probably on their way don't worry they'll be here soon." Veronica told him with hope. They both sat their in comfortable silence until Veronica spoke out. "Jughead?" "Yeah?" He said shooting his head up from his phone. "After highschool you know how we were supposed to meet here, at Pops, a year later?" "Yes and none of you showed up i remember vigorously" "What? No one showed up?" "Nope not one single person besides me but thank you for bringing up that wonderful memory" Jughead said the last part super sarcastically.

"I'm so sorry but the reason I didn't was because" *sighs* "onky two people know this Archie and Chad, my ex husband as you know, but I know you and I never really were the closest back in highschool and we could've been if it wasn't for our fathers dragging us down with them and punishing this awful hate towards eachother." Jughead looked at her with heart warming eyes knowing he trusted her enough to go deep into her life like this and her telling him before Betty. "But moving on that day was the day I got in a drunken helicopter crash for wishing death upon Chad and I would've come, believe me I would've, but I didn't because I wished death upon my husband while I was drunk. But as for Archie and Betty who knows what they were doing" "Probably sticking their tounges down eachothers throats" He said right before taking a sip of his drink*

Veronica let out a slight giggle at his comment while Archie came rushing into Pops. "GUYS! ITS BETTY!" "What what about Betty?" Veronica said worried. "He has her" Archie said as if they knew who "he" was. "Who is he Archiekens?" Veronica said plainly. "The Trash Bag Killer" "The Trash Bag Killer?!" Jughead said while standing up immediately Veronica following after. "Yeah we need to go NOW!" Archie said. And with that they all took off from Pops to go grab their bestfriend.

Meanwhile while Betty was being tortured. "GET IN THEIR!" The Tbk said. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?" Betty said completely out of breath from sobbing. The tbk picked her up and threw her down in a small well and started dumping water on her. Betty collapsed super hard probably broke a bone or two and became unconscious.

The gang slowly drives up to the mysterious house where they suspected Betty to be and parked a few feet away with the car still on. They all got out and slowly walked inside being as quiet as possible. They all looked at a door that led down to a basement and started walking down the stairs. Jughead had his pocket knife on him and a gun, Veronica had a nice pair of heels and pepper spray, and Archie had him, I mean he did fight in wars.

They all saw a tall buff figure standing in front of a well chuckling, Jughead went behind him and held the gun to his back. "Where is she?" Jughead said, his voice was low, husky, and vicious. "Im no scared of a little boy. " "Correction, former Serpent King and someone who can kill you in the next two seconds, now WHERE. THE. HELL. IS. SHE." The man didn't answer Jughead had no choice, he looked at Veronica and motioned her to go over the the tbk. "Put a hand on her and this bullet will go straight through your heart." Jughead said demandingly. "

Veronica lifted his mask off and pepper sprayed him in the eyes before getting a chance to get a good look at him Jughead let go of the gun as Archie banged a metal stick to his head and the guy knocked unconscious. (It'll be Glen cause why not:] ) "Oh my god who is that?" Veronica said unsure of who the man was. "Thats not-" Archie started saying. "Bettys co worker." Jughead said. "Oh my god BETTY!" Jughead said, he looked over the well to see ana unconscious figure unsure if it was Betty or not. The well wasn't that deep, Jughead bent over and grabbed the arms of this figure carefully and pulled her out and carried her bridal style down to the floor.

Veronica covered her mouth while sobbing silently seeing her bestfriend unconscious. "Oh my god Betty?" Jughead said as he tried to find a pulse. At this point Veronica was a complete mess in Archies arms while Jughead was freaking out trying to get betty conscious again. "Okay Archie call 911 for him and Veronica help me with Betty doing CPR." As Jughead said that Archie dialed 911, Veronica wiped her tears off and started pounding on Bettys chest while Jughead gave mouth to mouth. About 2 minutes later Bettys head twitched and her eyes shot up. You could hear a loud happily gasp out if Veronicas mouth. "Oh my god B!" Veronica exclaimed. Jughead grabbed the side of her face to make her look at him and he smiled down to her as she started closing her eyes again. "NO NO BETTY STAY WITH ME!" Jughead said about to break down.

"I'm so tired though Jug, please just d-don't let go of me." He picked her up lightly and moved over to where he could lean on something and held her in his arms. A few minutes later the police arrested Glen and asked Betty questions about all of this. The three found out its been happening for years and Jughead found the real reason why she didn't come to Pops either, Archie had Army stuff, no one asked though🙄. Soon enough Betty got the real help she needed along with Jughead and the gang soon became the the Core 4 one again.
