Chapter 4

It has been like a month and our summer vacations are going on right now. it's quite cool u know, talking to someone so much that u know what their reply to something is gonna be even before it is said. My situation with Nathan was somewhat like that. wanna know some of our stupidest chats? Here you go...

"Hey"
"Hiii"he said
"Sup?"
"Nm"
"Where do u stay?"
"London" he said
"Where in london"
"scarlet street"
"Where is dat??" I asked
"London"
"Ohh Godd!!"
"No not God, London"
After that we cracked up and kept send each other *Rofl* and * rOFLing* and *ROFLer* and all that stupid shit but still, it did make me laugh. I had just had a bath and when I came out I saw a "Heyy " from him, so I said "hii"
In a while he said I'm bored.
I said Me too
Then he said Can I come over?
I said Sure and gave him my address. he said Ok wait I'm coming.
( we were kidding of course)
Then he "Came Over" and I gave him a tour of my house, showing him the PS4 room and my bedroom and the TV and suddenly he said, What's that?
I said what?
He said, that tall thing beside your bed
I said Oh that's called the Wall.
He said Seriously?! Thank you so much for this piece of information, I really wouldn't have guessed.
I said You are truly welcome
He said, I need to use the loo, where is it?
I told him the directions and he followed them. after some time we went downstairs and were casually walking when he spotted a lady wearing a bikini in the balcony. he said, Wow she is hot.
I said Ya cause she is wearing a bikini.
He said, clothes don't matter
I said , Yes sure. you would prefer if they weren't there at all wouldn't u?
He grinned at me and we continued walking . after some time his father "called" and he had to "go home" we said good bye and he left.
For the benefit of any clueless person, all this happened through chat.
Anyway so my point being that we had become really close friends and every night I would say Night Night Nate and he would say Night Night Fincy. ( he liked making up words)

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge exactly how smart Nate is. I am NOT being sarcastic. he is genuinely a very smart person, I say this because he is really good at math. now, to me, anyone who can do math is next to God! He is a pure genius! It's not that he is the smartest guy in the grade or that nobody is better than him at math cause maybe there is but the way he solves problems, the way he does it so very effortlessly, the fact that he doesn't need to memorise anything ( it just comes to him...) is the most amazing thing I have seen since food. Yes, that good. for example, in the classes everybody is tearing their hair out. While trying to solve Q 2 and when you turn to look at him, he is probably at 17 or something. Genius! My point being, that exams were a month away and I sucked at math.
One day I just randomly asked him a question through chat and he sent me a picture of the sum. I'm sure many people think I'm crazy but that picture made me really happy. talking to him itself made me really happy. every little thing he did made me really happy. don't ask me why, shit happens!

*school reopens*
Everyone was really scared about our first exam. you could sort of feel it in the air. the tension, the stress, the frantic questions from people who hadn't studied and there was Nathan. he looked like he didn't give two shits about exams like 'hell I'm too cool for this'. I was with my friends, answering the rapid fire questions they asked, I knew this, it was easy.
After the exam, I walked up to Nathan and asked him,
"How was it?"
"What?"
"The exam dumb kid!"
"Oh that!"
"Yes that. how was it?"
"I'll pass"
We laughed and started chatting randomly about food, football, TV shows and things like that till we reached his friends. I said bye to him and went in the direction of my friends.
"How was it?!"
"Ohh I'm failing this shit!" Hannah screamed.
"Shit up Han. The last thing you and Sophia need to do is worry about failing!" Sophia was my other best friend, though we weren't as close as Hannah and I but nonetheless, she too was a genius.
"Fiiiiine. Let's go now" Hannah sighed, and we left for home.

A/N: I know this was a bad chapter, probably pretty detached but i wasn't exactly in the right frame of mind, just had to update. Next chapter will be better, promise.
