you fall asleep on her lap

"I've missed you." JinSoul smiled and leaned down to brush her lips against your forehead lovingly.

You were flipping through the channels to try to find something to watch. It's your first night in with JinSoul in weeks.

Both of you have been so busy lately that the most time you've had is in the morning before you both walk out the door, or when she kisses you goodbye on the days she leaves earlier than you.

This time together is very much needed and you're looking forward to every second spent by her side and wrapped in her secure arms.

"Missed you too." You said as you gazed up at her and the smile that was already on your face grew when she leaned down to give you a sweet kiss. "Are you sure you don't have any suggestions on what to watch?"

She just nodded and stared down at you with soft eyes, looking at you adoringly as you tried to find something.

"I'm sure. I'm happy with anything as long as I get to hold you."

You turned on something random, knowing that you probably wouldn't be paying much attention to the movie anyway. You figured it'd simply be background noise as you held a conversation about anything and everything with your girl.

You turned to look at her just as she moved to kiss your temple, causing her lips to brush against yours. You just giggled into the kiss, finding it to be even sweeter than the last as she moved her lips slowly against your own and you savored the taste of her lips.

You sighed as you pulled away, so content that you closed your eyes. You didn't plan on keeping them closed, only letting your worries that you've had on your mind disappear as you melted into the comfort and warmth of her embrace.

But she started to brush her fingers through your hair, gently combing through any tangles you had with a sweet smile on her face.

She watched a smile tug at your lips and watched your eyelashes flutter. You looked so cute and it melted her heart.

"You're making me sleepy." You said, only for her to chuckle.

"I think you're sleepy already. We've both had long weeks. I think I'm just helping you fall asleep now."

You sighed contentedly and tried so hard to open your eyes, but you felt so relaxed and so happy that you found it hard to open them.

"I wanted to spend time with you." You pouted.

"We are spending time together." She smiled. "Besides, it's early. We've still got hours to spend together. Rest up a little."

"Promise you won't let me go?"

She chuckled before brushing her lips against your forehead.

"Why would I ever do that? I love you. This is all I've wanted lately, finding myself holding out for this time with you. Trust me, I'm not going anywhere tonight. I'm much too happy to even move."

You puckered your lips and she happily kissed you once more.

"Go to sleep." She whispered softly. "I've got you."

And although you really wanted to stay awake, your lack of sleep was catching up to you and you were so comfortable, so warm and so safe in her arms, that you struggled to fight it any longer.

You melted into her touch and found yourself drifting off to sleep with a tiny smile on your face as she whispered words of love in your ear ever so softly.

When she knew you were awake she just grinned and stared at you. She didn't care about the movie playing. She didn't care about anything but you.

She wasn't letting you go, planning to spend every second right by your side tonight, where she felt happiest.
