JinSoul wordlessly followed you inside your house and closed the door behind her, blocking out the paparazzi and fans that practically surrounded the place.

You let out a heavy sigh as you sat down on one of the chairs in the kitchen.

It's been a long and exhausting day.

You're a famous actress but the exhaustion you feel isn't from your job but rather from your fake relationship with JinSoul.

The label you're signed to, as well as JinSoul's, agreed a few months ago that you two needed to date.

Neither of you was thrilled about it because the thought alone of being in a fake and highly public relationship isn't great.

But your labels wanted you both to benefit from having a public relationship and no matter how much you and JinSoul disliked it, you were given no choice.

"What do you want to do?" JInSoul asked.

"What do you mean?" You questioned as you lifted your head. "I don't even know why you came back here to my house with me. The day is almost over, it's getting late. We don't have to hang out anymore tonight. Just go home."

You got up and went to the fridge to grab some water.

JinSoul stood there with her head down, struggling to keep her thoughts and emotions inside.

"What?" You asked. "We don't even like each other outside of this fake relationship so why are you still here?"

"Because!" She said as she bit the inside of her cheek.

"That's not a reason." You said as you sat back down, taking a few sips of water.

"I thought, you'd like to hang out. We could order some food and watch some TV."

"Why?" You asked.

She sighed in response, making you furrow your eyebrows.

"Why, JinSoul!?"

"Because I'm tired of pretending!" She yelled. "I'm tired of pretending how I truly feel."

"What are you talking about?"

She sat down in another chair and scooted it close to yours.

She placed her hand slowly and gently on your knee as your eyes stayed locked with hers.

"You said we don't even like each other outside of our fake relationship but... that's not true. At least not for me. I like you."

Your breath hitched over her confession.

"No, you know what? Like is such a huge understatement. I love you. I'm in love with you. At first, I hated the thought of being in a fake relationship and I was so upset about it. But after a few weeks... I started to enjoy it. Because I've fallen for you. I enjoy every minute I get to spend with you. You can dislike me if that's how you truly feel but I can't keep this to myself anymore. I love you."

For a moment, you just sat there in front of her, in shock and silence.

But then, a little smile pulled at your lips, and JinSoul couldn't help but do the same in response.

"Then, I guess now is a good time to confess that I feel the same. I just always pretended I didn't and that you annoyed me because I thought that's how you felt about me. I didn't want to get my heart broken."

"Darling, I would never break your heart." She whispered as she cupped your chin gently. "I love and care about you more than you'll ever know."

"I feel the same way. I love you too." You said back to her, your eyes still locked with hers.

She slowly leaned in and gave you a soft, loving kiss.

You've shared quite a few of them during your fake relationship.

But this one was real.

This one was full of love and romance.

It felt perfect.

As she slowly pulled away, you cracked a smile and said,

"So... is our relationship no longer fake?"

"Yeah." She smiled. "It's real now, genuinely real. I'm yours and you're mine."

"That's all I've ever wanted." You said before kissing her again, feeling as though everything was right, at last.
