Trapped in a videogame

The strange video game

★Y/N's pov★
Another day at school, another day of avoiding everyone except for my best friend Alex. Thank God I'm already at my last period. I'm not a very social person. The only friend I have is Alex, who I know since kindergarten. Me and Alex would spend hours playing videogames and listening to heavy metal. We're both metalheads. I was at my locker getting ready to go home when Alex came up to me and said
"Hey Y/N!"
"Hey Alex! What's up?"
"My dad found this videogame at the beach. I was wondering if you wanna come over to play it?"
"Of course! I got nothing to do anyways."
"Great! I mean, cool."
I blushed at the way Alex said that. I think he was trying to hide something. But I shook that feeling off.
We went to his house and he led me to his room. He took out something from under his bed.
"This is it. It's called Jumanji."
"What a weird name."
"So, do you wanna play it?"
"You know it."
Alex turned the game on. There were six characters to choose from. Dr Bravestone, Mouse Finbar, Ruby Roundhouse, Profesor Sheldon, Seaplane McDonough and Alice Stevens. Alex chose Seaplane McDonough. I was browsing through the characters reading their descriptions until I stopped at Alice.
'Seaplane's best friend. She has shape shifting skills since she has been experimented on.'
Since shape shifting is one of my favorite superpowers I chose her.
Alex then said
"So, now what?"
I shrugged. Then we suddenly heard drums beating.
"What the?" I said.
Then I saw Alex disappearing before my eyes. I started screaming. Then I saw that I was disappearing too. The last thing I heard before it all went black was Alex shouting my name.
