Pet owner's POV

You know I thought that if one day you were to suddenly disappear, I had thought that I had given and done everything I could do for you.

You always had a full stomach,

Slept in a warm bed,

And enjoyed a comfortable life.

But now, slowly, I felt regrets overcoming me like a wave.

When you turned gray, I thought: "I should have taken more picture of you."

When you lost your hearing, I thought: "I should have said I love you more often."

When you couldn't run anymore, I thought: "I should have taken you for more walks."

When you couldn't see anymore, I thought: "I should have smiled at you more."

I'm only realizing all of this now. If I lose you, I know I'll have regrets.

I'll think: "I should have loved you even more."
