Mack chuckled over Kim's attitude towards him and mimed a 'Drink?' signal at Jaime who nodded emphatically. He grinned at her as he approached. "So hen, where were we?" He leaned in to kiss her masterfully and it took every bit of her to back away, "Ah ah ah. Not just yet Mack. I don't want you to get the wrong idea about a girl." She teased, moving closer into the corner of the booth so he'd have to sit closer to her. "How's your evening been?" He asked, placing his arm on the back of the bench, letting his fingertips stroke the back of her neck imperceptibly, sending shivers through her. "Mmm." She reacted before responding, pleasing Mack to see. "It's been alright. I think we've got it down to a good ratio of her speaking 75% of the time. And graciously allowing me 25%. Which is remarkable considering this time last year we didn't talk at all." She sighed stopping herself, suddenly very conscious she might be confiding too much about her life. Especially as she barely knew Mack but... there was something disarming about him. His grin, jawline, cheekbones, eyes...she could list everything she found attractive in his face, but there was something more. It was warm and inviting. She felt drawn to him.

"What about you? Playing gooseberry?" She teased. "Ah it's no' so bad. They've just been reunited. Rob were in prison. So you see, the whole village doesn't revolve around the gossip over the Tate dynasty." He finished his drink, flashing his eyes at her. "You know...I've got a pretty nice bottle of whisky at my place?" She drummed her fingers on his neck. "Aye? Need a hand finishing it?" Jaime could feel the electricity between them and simply nodded. "I think I can do that darling." The way he said darling thrilled her. "Come on then." She finished her glass and shot a text to the driver Kim had arranged. "I'm just going to pay. My driver should be here soon." She grinned, heading to the bar.

"All done love?" Chas asked, getting the bill. "Yeah it was great thanks. Very enjoyable evening." Jaime smiled, seeing Mack picking up her coat from the back of the chair, and paying using the machine, giving an overly generous tip. "And you seem to have a new friend?" Chas smirked as Mack approached passing her her coat. "Hmm well it's nice to have company. Especially company as appealing as Mr Boyd. So you and Paddy eh? God, he had this wild girlfriend when I was little...Maxine? Maddy?" "Mandy." Chas corrected. "Me cousin." "Oh! Right! I mean...when I said wild..." "S'alright. She is pretty wild. So will we be seeing you again?" Mack stood behind her, lightly touching her back, causing her to smile brightly. "Yeah. Yeah I think you will. Say goodbye to Paddy for me?" Chas nodded before turning to serve someone else. "Is your driver here Lady Tate?" Mack asked, his lips surreptitiously brushing her ear lobe as he asked. "Hmm yes so if you'd be so kind as to escort me to my car?" She led him out of the pub as Mack flashed a wink to Aaron and Robert. "See yer in the morning boys." He chuckled, following Jaime out.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jaime raised her eyebrow at him as they got in the car. "'See yer in the morning boys'?" She impersonated his accent. "Just exactly that hen. No' making any assumptions about where I'll be waking up." He grinned. "Nice accent by the way. But you sound more Ayrshire and I'm Glasgae. Need to work on that." "Hmm I'll take that onboard." She rested against him as he snaked his arm around her waist, pulling her close to him, stroking his thumb against her hip. "Is it a long drive to yours?" He whispered, kissing her lobe softly, moving down along her jawline. "Long enough to keep you frustrated Mr Boyd." She teased, moving his hand away from her hip and linking her fingers through his. "But good things come to those who wait. I promise." She cupped his cheek, lifting her head up to kiss him firmly and passionately.
