Hello everyone this is my first Jaya one shot I hope you guys like it now just a fair warning if any of you are conya shippers or just don't like Jaya the I recommend you don't read it.
If anyone ask why I don't ship Cole and nya with anyone else your answers will hopefully be answered soon
"Cole's your perfect match" Jay say in a broken tone. It's been about 3 days since the overlord was back worse their most powerful ninja the ultimate spinjitzu master lloyd garmadon had to go into hiding with his father since the overlord wants his powers.
But this, hearing this was broke him no matter how many enemies no matter how many fights, no matter how many lessons which include his face on the ground being completely humiliated by his friends could compare to the anger and sadness that filled his mind.
COLE WAS HER PERFECT MATCH
They barely spoke to each other and have nothing in common but here he is listening in on the conversation between his mother, his nindroid friend, his girlfriend and the android known as pixal. Pixal saying that Cole and Nya were a perfect match literally made his eyes go blank, he could feel his powers surging through his body but how he doesn't have his elemental weapon or that sword he got with his fellow ninja when they were in the temple of light.
When he first met Nya, her angelic voice, her beauty and her perfect body made him feel different he had dated few girls before but Nya was something else she made him feel happy with who he was, never discouraged him about his problems of talking too much and she always said "you are the best you". But now here he was hearing his girlfriends perfect match was Cole, his best friend but then the more he thought about it the more it made sense. The sudden change of attitude her giving him the cold shoulder always shouting at him was she falling at Cole when they were teachers for a while before this whole mess.
Her keeping secrets from him did she begin to loose trust in him. Her holding Cole's hand he just thought it was just some advice or reassurance for something but now it fits perfectly Nya was going behind Jay's back wasn't she. That thought made his blood boil he needed answers because if he didn't he would explode and it wouldn't be pretty.
"Jay" Nya said. Nya decided to step closer and the she holds Jays hand and smile at him but shockingly he didn't return a smile he just took his hand away from her and stepped back a little bit.
"Did you know about this before pixal said it" Jay asked Nya and she looked down full of guilt. Jay read her face being the student of Sensei Wu had his perks, like knowing when someone is hiding something or feeling guilty.
"Damnit Nya, when were you gonna tell me" Jay snapped shocking her she has never seen her boyfriend angry not like this.
"I was gonna tell you but I didn't think it was the right time" Nya responded she had a frown on her face, she wasn't wrong the overlord was back and he had a whole army of nindroids and to make matters worse he had full control of the electronics in ninjago.
"But you definitely had time for Cole in the train" Jay sneered and Nya looked at him she could she he was heartbroken at the fact she decided to talk to Cole instead of him.
"Jay you're not the only person I talk too, the team they're my family too, the only reason I talk to Cole was because he had feelings for me but he never wanted to act upon those feelings since you and I were a couple I told him that he would find love and someone who would treat him with compassion" Nya said trying to reason with her boyfriend "do you think after everything we've been through I would have left you because of a machine If that's how you think then you don't know me at all".
Those words seem to snap Jay back to reality he was an idiot. "I'm so sorry, I don't know what I was thinking" Jay apologized but Nya grabbed jay's hand and squeezed it lightly.
"Hey you were just mad, you weren't thinking clearly" Nya reassured him.
"But I was still rude to you, how could I ever think that you would, god I'm such an-"he never got to finish that as nya grabbed his head and pecked him on the lips it might have been a short kiss unlike the others they had over the months but it felt like an eternity.
Both of them then looked into each other's eyes they're was no anger, no despair, no jealousy and no disappointment they're was only one thing they're love.
"Oh isn't that beautiful Zane, I might become a grandma early" Edna quickly interrupted the couple.
Both of their cheeks immediately turned red "Ma" Jay said not in an angry tone though. "We're still too young for that".
"Jay umm theirs something I need to tell you" Nya said her boyfriend turned to her and simply asked "what is it".
"I'm pregnant" Nya shouted fortunately it wasn't loud enough for Cole and kai to hear. If they heard well Cole would be happy but kai would most likely kill Jay.
"Wow are you gonna keep it" Jay asked silently hoping yes.
"Definitely although I didn't want to have one this young.
"That's amazing I can't believe I'm gonna be a dad although kai would kill me" jay said.
"Not as long as I am here" Nya reassured him.
And it was true nothing could stop them Jay and Nya loved each other very much and no matter how much pain or stress they go through they will always be together whether alive or dead nothing can separate those two
And that's the end of that thanks to everyone who read this one shot now why do I not ship Cole and Nya
If I remember correctly cole wanted to have nya like a sister and the writers were like nah let's forget that
Chemistry
Now tell me does Cole and nya have chemistry the only thing they have I common is being ninjas and how many Ninja's are out their six.
And honestly I can't see Cole and nya as a couple I just can't.
Plus she works better with jay they both like engineering they both have been through a lot (especially in season 6) and they're already yin and yang
Why I don't ship her with lloyd easy I see lloyd and Nyas relationship like if they were siblings.
Plus in the show lloyd was hung up on harumi and it looks like he never got over her although she used him.
In the end we all need to remember we can ship whatever we want some like bruise but some don't some like plasma but others don't .
