A one shot about how jay would feel after loosing nya

Also just a small note after this one shot I will not be doing any Jaya one shots in or after seabound unless if the writers bring her back
I'll still do Jaya one shots which would either be an au or ones that will diverge from canon hope you guys will enjoy them
Can't move on without you (seabound spoilers )
His heart was broken again
And unlike last time, this might be permanent
His yang was gone the love of his life although it was to save him, apart of him wishes she didn't he would have rather died than let nya become apart of the ocean and In the end making her leave the team her parents.
Apart of him wished that it was him who had to sacrifice himself to save his family
Jay never liked being the hero
Sure it brought fame sometimes money and fans
But the cost was always high their was always a chance they wouldn't make it.
Nya smith was gone
Well she wasn't dead but she didn't-
God this is complicated.
What he found annoying was everyone checking up on him, seeing how he was doing, they should be concentrating on finding how to make nya human again. The one time they showed that they cared about him was after he lost nya
Kai wasn't doing any better
Jay could still hear the screams at night.
The screams of pain
He couldn't blame the master of fire he lost his sister the same sister kai took care of for her entire life, "if only i didn't swallow too much water" jay mentally thought.
This was worse than loosing Zane because this time she was technically alive but decided to leave and their was no way to make her come back or turn her back to human and that truly broke him.
Sensei Wu even gave them a few days off to clear their heads.
Jay honestly wanted to leave the team but he couldn't.
He promised he wouldn't leave unlike last time.
He promised his family
His friends
And nya
Even tho she's gone he mentally promised himself to never ever leave his team they already lost one member, they couldn't lose another.
But he would be lying saying he didn't have Where moments he wanted to just end the pain
Flashback
He was walking closer to his doom closer to the end of the mountain he was so high up he couldn't see the end.
Just a few more steps
He thought
Then he looked back he thought he heard something
Maybe it was his mind playing things
Just 10 more steps
Then he counted the number of steps left before he leaves this world

But before he could take his last step someone called his name
He quickly turned back to see lloyd
"Stop it jay" lloyd said
"Don't stop me" jay said.
"Don't please we already lost so much we can't loose another one" lloyd pleaded
"Lloyd- without her I can't I just can't" jay said as tears started to form in his eyes
"This isn't what nya would want she sacrificed herself to save you jay" lloyd reasoned.
Those words make him feel like if he was carrying a mountain.
His legs felt weak
And then he sobbed hard
The next thing he knows he's down on the ground punching it.
Lloyd moves closer and gives jay a hug, jay sobbed harder making lloyds gi wet
"It's alright let it all out" lloyd told his friend.
"It should have been me" jay quietly said "it should have been me"
And after that he promised himself never to do something like that again.
He can't change the past, he might never see nya again but he would still protect his home, his friends and try to honor his love.
After seeing the season finale I've done nothing but stayed in my couch the ending was just so sad
I still pray that nya will come back and I hope she does
As a Jaya fan I just need her to be brought back.
