y/ns pov:
vinnies fight was coming up in a couple months, and he's been training everyday so we haven't been really spending time with eachother he would wake up at 7AM stay at the gym all day then come home at 11PM and we would talk for about 30 minutes and go to sleep. but i'm just scared for vinnie.. he's never done anything like this before, and deji he's a boxer even tho he's not that good dont mean i'm not scared for vinnie. i do have faith for him and know he can win i'm still just very scared, what if something goes wrong? my inner thoughts got interrupted by someone's deep voice.
"y/n?" i hear somone say so i quickly wipe my tears and look up to meet eyes with vinnie.
"hey baby what's wrong?" he says with a worried face walking over to me.
"nothing it's just something stupid" i say as he pulls me into his lap.
"if it's making you cry then it's not stupid,pretty." he says pushing my hair from my face.
"just tell me, i thought we were opened up with eachother." he says putting his hand ontop of mine.
"promise you won't be mad at me?" i ask scared of him being mad an thinking i don't stand by his side.
"i can't promise, but i'll try not to" he says in a raspy voice.
"i'm scared.. that your gonna loose the fight and your gonna get hurt." i say looking down, it's silent for a couple seconds before vinnie speaks up.
"it's okay, i'm not going be mad at you silly. i'm a little scared to but i just put faith in myself and i hope you would too." he says looking at me.
"i do vinn, of course i do. but that still don't mean something can go wrong." i say my eyes getting teary again.
"hey, hey listen, i'm gonna be okay i'm gonna knock him fucking out okay? i'll do it for you." he says kissing my forehead.
"i miss you vinn." i say hugging him.
"i know baby i miss you too." he says wrapping his arms around me.
"can we cuddle" i ask kissing his shoulder. he nods, picking me up like i weighed nothing and laying me on the bed laying on top of me.
"i love you vinnie." i says running my fingers through his hair.
"i love you too y/n" he says looking up at me laying a kiss on my lips.
