Book Title: The Fifth Marauder : James Potter's Twin Sister

Genre: Fanfiction

Synopsis: James Fleamont Potter wasn't an only child. He had a twin sister, whose name was Emily Euphemia Potter and she was was literally the female version of her brother. They went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together and were both sorted into Gryffindor, quickly becoming best friends with Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. Emily also becomes close friends with Lily Evans, Marlene McKinnon, Mary MacDonald , Dorcas Meadowes and Molly Prewett.

When did you start writing?

I started writing when I was about the age of two or three. I always enjoyed it. 

What is your favourite and least favourite thing about writing?

Hmm....well my most favourite thing is that in writing you can make a small idea, into something big and when I'm worried about stuff, writing helps me take my mind off things. There aren't many things I don't like about writing, but making grammar/spelling mistakes really annoys me

Writing can definitely be therapeutic...Sometimes haha. Would you consider yourself a planner or a pantser – do you like to have a detailed plan for your story, or would you rather dive straight into it and see where it takes you?

A pantser...definitely! I absolutely HATE planning my stories. For me, it's quite boring. When I'm writing the things from my plan in my story, I always get a new, better idea, so I don't really like planning. *shrugs*

Which genres do you prefer to write?

Horror and Harry Potter fanfiction

Regardless of genre, what do you feel makes a good story?

Making your story as unique as possible, will make it a good story. Make it descriptive so your readers can really picture the scene. 

Do you have a writing routine?

I don't really have a writing routine......so no. I write whenever a new idea comes to me, or when I have a device with me!

What was the inspiration behind this story?

I absolutely love the Harry Potter books and I always have. I hadn't read any other fifth marauder fanfics before, i decided to write my own. I had always wanted there to be a female marauder , since they were all originally male

That's a cute idea! How much of this story have you written and uploaded to Wattpad?

I have uploaded 33 chapters and I have nearly finished writing the 34th chapter.

What is your favourite thing about writing this story?

My most favourite thing? well...that's a hard one, cuz I love everything in my story. My favourite thing, however , is writing about the pranks that Emily and her friends play on people.

What is your personal favourite scene, moment or chapter in this story?

So far my favourite scene, is probably, the first scene in the first chapter, where Emily and James throw some Farting Fog (which they made themselves) into the mum and dad's room, making their hair and clothes go green and making them stink!

I love that your book is set in the world of Harry Potter, one of my favourite franchises! How accessible is it to people who don't know the fandom?

Hmm.... I don't think you have to know about the Harry potter books to read a fanfic because it's not gonna go along the storyline anyway. To people who don't know the HP fandom, it doesn't matter, as long as they enjoy my story

Was it a challenge to write the original Harry Potter characters in your story, and set them into the plot?

No, because J.K. Rowling described in the original books the personalities of the marauders so well, that it was easy to fit them into the story. Same goes for Lily Evans and some other characters.

How did you ensure your OC, Emily, was unique and blended into the world?

I made her a bit like James, but she was kinder and a bit more caring. I wanted to make her a kind of mix of Lily and James!

How would you say your book is unique to all the other Harry Potter fanfictions out there (because there is a LOT haha)?

Honestly....I have no idea *laughs*. Is it unique? I don't even know haha. Some other fanfics don't give a whole account of james's twin sister's life at Hogwarts

Other than the book we are discussing, are there any other stories you want to promote?

YES! I really, REALLY recommend ORDINARY by Dhanu_shyamindi ! It's really good and I love it!

Who is your favourite Wattpad author, or what is your favourite Wattpad book?

My favourite author on Wattpad is Dhanu_shyamindi and favourite book is THE ABANDONED HOUSE and ORDINARY.
