Chapter 35

Elissa pov *

After two hours of preparation I was finally ready, Adrian asked to accompany him for a gala. It will be the first time we will attend a party together since our reconciliation. I was super anxious and afraid of the reaction of the people who will see us together. It was like I discovered everything again, after five years far away from his lifestyle, I was afraid to embarrass him or myself.

I was looking at my reflection in the mirror when Adrian entered and sneaked his arms around my waist from behind looking at me through the mirror.

"You are so beautiful love, are you sure you don't want to stay here so I can have my way with you" He said putting his face deep in my neck

He was teasing me a lot lately, I couldn't blame him he is a man and has his needs. But he never expressed it brutally. I was even more surprised when he didn't get angry or cold after my rejection. I expect from him to give a cold shoulder but on the contrary Adrian was more loving, attentive, patient always looking for pleasing me. So I couldn't be happier having a great man and a great father for my son by my side.

"I don't think your business partner will be happy with you not showing at his event" I replied turning to face him and putting my arms around his neck.

"Yes you're right" he said giving me a deep kiss

I chuckled at him when he pulled back and wiped the lipstick on his lips. After I checked my makeup we walked downstairs to say goodbye to our son and Martha who joined us in our new house. She is like a grandmother to Lucas and I am glad to have her here with us.

"Be a good boy to Martha" Adrian said and he nodded

"I love you baby, see you tomorrow morning" I added kissing and hugging him

"Love you too mommy"

We walked to the party with Adrian's hand on my back. He felt my body tensed and whispered

"Relax babe everything will be fine just be yourself and I won't leave your side I promise"

He was true to his word; we spent an amazing evening despite the disapproving gaze of some guest I didn't care because the look full of admiration and love which Adrian was giving me, it was enough.

We went home late so we were quiet walking to our bedroom. I got rid of my heels and sat on the edge of the bed exhausted. Adrian kneeled in front of me and started massaging my feet. I let out a soft moan and closed my eyes feeling his soft hands. I opened my eyes when he started kissing my feet, ankle and calve. Our eyes locked and I saw all the lust and love. I was feeling the same thing; I missed him and wanted him to make me complete again so I grabbed his face bringing him to me and kissed him with all the passion I had at this moment. He made me fall on the bed still kissing and caressing my thighs under the dress. He became more urgent like a starving man moving his lips to my neck and collarbone I was lost under his touch and warm lips but suddenly he jumped from the bed.

I got up and stared at him with short breath

"I am sorry love but if I don't stop now I won't be able to and I don't want to pressure you, I would like for you to be completely ready" He finally said

I went to him, took her face in my hands and replied

"I don't want you to stop Adrian"

His eyes widened at my words and took a few seconds to react

"What? Are you sure... you mean that..." He stated to speak nonstop so I cut him

"I want you...now"

At this moment he didn't lose a second before taking me. He gave me the most wonderful, passionate night I've never had and this until dawn.

"Thank you for your thrust Mrs Wendley and you can count on me everything will be perfect" I said to my client on the phone.

My little business was growing, so this last year was just perfect. I am an accomplished woman and mother and having my own company made me feel great. Adrian supported me and even tried to invest money in it but I refused I wanted to be completely independent and prove that I could do it alone. My agenda was full for two months, with birthdays, baby shower and even engagement party. I hope one day I will organise a wedding. But step by step like I always say I'm already happy with what I've accomplished. I even resigned from my waitress's job.

Adrian made me happier day by day he proposed 6 months later after the first time but I refused again and honestly I don't know if I will be marry him but it's true that sometimes where we were together and the women talk or behaved with him like they have a chance with him just because he doesn't have a ring on his finger it made me furious with jealousy and at this moment I really wanted to claim him as mine and shout at all of them that he is now untouchable by marrying him. I wanted to stay free and at the same time sealed my life to his.

"Hey babe" Adrian brought me back of my thoughts

"Hey love" I replied smiling at him.

We are sharing the office at home, it was Adrian's idea but I seriously consider taking another room because every time we were together I ended naked on his desk or the carpet or the sofa with him on me. It became impossible for me to work when he was around and I knew the moment he entered with his 'hey babe' what his intentions were.

"I have work to do Adrian" I said breathlessly when I felt his mouth on my neck and his hands on my breast

"I will be quick I promise"

"Liar you say that every time... oh" I couldn't finish my sentence when he carried me, made me seat on the desk and crashed his lips on mine.

That's what I was saying...
