Wake Up

Banner: Okay, I am going to go eat and then I will come back and check on all of his vitals before I head to bed. Do you want me to bring some food back for you?

Sammy: No it is okay. I'm not hungry anymore. Thank you Bruce.

Banner: Of course Sammy. I'll be back in a bit.

- Banner leaves the lab -

Sammy: Loki- I am so sorry. I don't even know if you can even really hear me. I didn't mean to do this to you. I just got so upset and lost control. I know you already know why/ how it happened but I just feel so bad. I promise to never hurt you again. I will be right here next to you when you wake up. I love you.

- 30 minutes later Banner walks back into the lab -

Banner: I am just going to check his vitals and then hook this headset up to his head to help him with healing the damage in his brain from when he hit the wall.

Sammy: You know you don't have to remind me about what I did.

Banner: I am sorry Sammy.

Sammy: It's okay Bruce I know you didn't mean it.

Banner: Well it looks like all of his vitals are good and the headset is all good to go. When he wakes up tomorrow morning his concussion will be gone.

Sammy: Thank you Bruce

Banner: I will see you guys in the morning.

Sammy: Good night.

Banner: Good night Sammy, try to get some rest.

Sammy: I will try.

- Banner leaves to head to bed -

Sammy: Please work tech. I want him to be better.

- I put my face in my hands and just think of everything that could have happened. -

"Don't beat yourself up about it, you didn't mean to do it."

- I look up to see my father standing in the doorway –

Sammy: That is not what you said this morning.

Steve: I'm sorry Sammy but I was pissed off that you didn't want to tell me about your new powers because you didn't want to risk not being able to go on a mission.

Sammy: You're pissed off!? I am the one that threw the love of my life halfway across the room and slammed him into a wall! And this mission was to prove to you that I am good enough!

Steve: Sammy, I don't want to fight. I wasn't saying that you weren't pissed off. And why do you need to prove to me that you are good enough? I already know that you are good enough! You have gained three new powers in the matter of a few days, and you have managed to control them fairly quickly. Your new power will take a little longer for you to control, which is why I am not letting you go on the mission Friday. I am sorry.

Sammy: If you knew I was good enough why were you giving me such a hard time about going on missions?

Steve: Because you are my daughter, I just got you back and I don't want to lose you again already.

Sammy: I'm sorry dad, I didn't think about it that way.

Steve: It's okay kiddo. Now I brought you some orange slices and a blanket cause Bruce said you were sleeping in here. But you need to eat something.

Sammy: Okay, thank you dad.

Steve: Of course, now eat something and get some rest. Good night. I love you.
