chapter 139

!!!!MAJOR CHAPTER 139 SPOILERS

(friday 9, april 2021)

yeah, we are back with our titan boy.

if i'm being honest, i expected smth else. not something better because it was a good ending, but something more...i don't know...EXPLAINED.

i named this "chapter 139" and not eren jaeger pt. 2 because i need to talk about other characters in ways not so related to our protagonist, but istg, i'm gonna focus on this boy at one point, plz bare with me.

okay first of all

1. falco and gabby

i was not a gabby stan, im gonna admit that, but i liked their ending. maybe she could have been a little bit more nice to falco but in her destroyed and messed up mind i think she was trying her best. i don't have a lot of things to say about them because i think their story was really well-finished so im gonna pass to the next person.

2. reiner

on the other hand i am a reiner stan so really liked that he got to live. he always doubted his existence and i think that after learning what eren was doing plus the fact that he is not the armored titan anymore he will have a chance to realize that life is worth living (even in stories like aot). also, i thought that it was pretty funny that he was still simping for historia, which is the next character im gonna talk about.

3. historia

i wished we had a little bit more closure about the father of the baby (no one is taking out of my mind that that baby was eren's). and also, we didn't saw a thing about ymir's death. they indirectly tell you that she was eaten by other eldian but who? where are they? did it really happened? lots of doubts that will not let me sleep.

4. jean and connie

even tho the trio was broken, i am happy they got a (relatively) happy ending. connie got to see his mother and jean was able to continue with his life by looking for "school girls who reads history books" (um that's legit me so jean hit me up). they suffered a lot for different reasons but at least they could see sasha one last time letting them continue with their lives.

5. levi

now this is the part where i CRIED. levi was by far the one who suffered the most (at least physically, mentally we have a lot of contestants) he lost his leg, his right eye and most importantly, his friends. he got to see hange, erwin, petra and all the soldiers that died fighting for freedom, and i think that represented levi's realization that all the choices he took were the ones that got him to get what he wanted, and i'm happy for him. he had a rough life and he deserves to live happy ever after, even if it takes falco and gabbie's time to take care of him.

6. armin <3

oh my boy, he's been through a lot. he finally understood eren's intentions and he, unlike the others, was able to say goodbye to his long life friend, which made me really happy. he is by far one of my favorite characters and seeing that he lived made me almost tear up. now he will have to fight for the eldians and the peace between countries, but knowing him, i know he will get the so wanted peace.

7. mikasa

um first of all...WHAT WAS THAT KISS

i love mikasa, she is one of the strongest characters out there and i really like her backstory...BUT WHY DID SHE KISSED EREN'S DEAD HEAD????? but besides that, she really deserved better. she focused her life on this boy who, even tho he kinda loved her back, he was not destined to be with her. she was one of the strongest characters but this meant nothing when it came the time to end eren's life. imo, i repeat, IN MY OPINION, because of her life story, she did not know how to love someone. for me she had this obsession with eren that made her do a lot of dangerous things, just for her to end it in the final battle. but, even tho i think she did not know how to love, she did one act out of pure love, and sadly, that was killing eren. she was in this toxic cycle of fighting and living for eren but she finally got out of it when she realize that everything eren wanted was for her to make the decision that would save humanity, even if it meant ending his life. maybe i'm repeating myself too much but at the end she did the right thing, and i'm glad that she got that little birdy moment with her scarf, maybe after that she'll learn to live for herself and no one else. (also the memes are kasksksksksks i die everytime)
