A new hero rises in San Fransokyo, defending the city from supervillains and giant monsters, joining forces with Big Hero 6.

(The scene begins to a view by Akuma Island, which has changed since the Spores had terraform the entire island with mutated plants and animals when the ground starts to crack as a giant dinosaur rises after being revived by the Spores and roars)

(Also, a giant worm emerges from the ground at well)
(Later at Lucky Cat Cafe, the footage is seen on television)
Bluff: It would appear that the aliens have terraform Akuma Island and have spawn giant monsters.
Go Go: (pops a bubblegum) That can't be good.
(At the Stewart Mansion, the Stewart family and the Blight Force are watching the news)
Harold: Is there anyway to stop those creatures?
King Blight: The Spores are weak against extreme temperatures like too much heat or cold.
Jade: Harold and I could design some ice and heat blasters.
Queen Blight: Excellent, we will use the blasters as a contingency plan, incase if the Spores become aggressive and attack San Fransokyo.
Harold: I might need a sample of the Spores' DNA for analysis.
Jade: Perhaps, I could send one of my robot drones to spy on them, collecting a DNA sample.
(Unknown to everyone, Zero is watching them through the eyes of an invisible Terradron)
Zero: So, they're collecting samples of the Spores and they don't intend to attack them?
(Zero laughs to himself)
Zero: We'll see about that.
(Later at San Fransokyo Bay, Harold, Jade and Adam are standing on the docks while Jade is holding a remote control, pressed a button that activates the drone, causing it to fly)
Jade: Alright, here we go.
(Jade flies the drone, directly to straight to Akuma Island)
Harold: Excellent.
(Meanwhile on Akuma Island, several creatures are walking around while drone is collecting samples from one of the plants and flies off)
Drone: Sample retrieved.
(After collecting the sample, the drone flies off of Akuma Island while passing the giant dinosaur as it notices the drone, narrowing his eyes)
(Meanwhile at Stewart Tech, everyone is looking at the analysis of the Spore sample from a computer)
Harold: Fascinating, the Spores have merge with the plant cells to create a new species.
Fred: Awesome!
Harold: And I can take a guess is that when the Spores merge with the island, they also manage to revive a dinosaur fossil and the name of this dinosaur is called Ataxidon.
Go Go: That's interesting.
Hiro: What about the giant worm?
Harold: My guess is that the Spores mutated some worms or possibly merge them into a single creature.
Dennis: I'm calling the giant worm, Wormagon.
Fred: Nice.
Jade: We need a special chemical to neutralize the Spores.
Baymax: If I may interrupt,
(Baymax points to the window)
Baymax: One of the Spores is looking out from the window.
(Everyone turns their attention to the Spore, that's watching everyone)
Wasabi: What is it doing?
Baymax: It's watching us.
Go Go: (pops a bubblegum) Okay, that's just creepy.
(The Spore phases through the glass, leaving everyone shocked)
Baymax: Oh no.
Fred: Cool.
(Go Go gives Fred a death glare)
Fred: I mean, oh no, that's bad.
Honey Lemon: What should we do?
King Blight: Let's just stay calm and try not to anger it.
(The Spore looks at everyone, but stares at Max and moves closely towards him)
Max: Uh, guys.
Jade: Why is it looking at Max?
(The Spore suddenly charges at Max and jumps into his mouth, shocking everyone)
Honey Lemon: Oh no.
Wasabi: Oh no.
Baymax: Oh no.
(Max collapses onto the floor with blue veins appearing on his body as he groans)
Harold, Jade, Andrew, Dennis and May: Max!
Princess Blight: Max!
(Max's body began twitching)
Honey Lemon: He's hurt.
(Go Go and Fred went to help Max get back on his feet)
Go Go: Are you okay?
Max: (groans) I don't think so.
(Max groans in pain)
Hiro: What's happening?
Queen Blight: I don't know.
(Max screams in pain as he falls on his knees)
Harold: Max! What's wrong?
Max: Something wrong Dad! What's happening to me?!
(Moments later, a chrysalis forms around Max's body as it grows bigger, causing part of the lab with the other half still intact as Harold, Jade, Adam, Big Hero 6, Andrew, Dennis, May and the Blight Force back away)
Harold: This can't be, Max has turn himself into a chrysalis and it would appear that he's going through a metamorphosis.
Baymax: Scanning, that Spore had merged itself with Monster Kid's body, forming a chrysalis.
Honey Lemon: Maybe we should get him out.
Queen Blight: I don't think it's that simple.
(Moments later, Mary enters the lab, carrying a box of cookies)
Mary: Harold, I got the cookies you wan...
(Mary froze when she saw Max in the cocoon, causing her to drop the cookies and screams, getting everyone's attention)
Harold: Mary!
Mary: Harold, what's going on?
Harold: Well, one of the Spores merged with Max and he's now in a cocoon stage.
Mary: Can't you get him out?
King Blight: Even if we could just remove Max from that chrysalis, we might end up killing him since the Spore has merged with his body.
Mary: Is he gonna be okay?
Harold: I don't know.
(Mary starts to cry with Harold and Harold comfort her as Baymax hugs them)
Baymax: There, there.
(Meanwhile on Akuma Island, Ataxidon jumps into the water and swims to the city of San Fransokyo)
