(Today is a normal day in San Fransokyo as Akiko Hamada wakes up in her bed)
Akiko: (yawns)
(Akiko gets out of her bed, grabs a towel as she gets into the bathroom before Hiro does, much to his dismay)
Hiro: Hey!
(The scene cuts to Akiko tying her shoe laces as she walks over to Kiko's cage)
Akiko: (thinking) Is somebody hungry?
(Kiko squawks, making Akiko to smile)
Akiko: Aww.
(Akiko gives Kiko some food as she happily eats it)
Akiko: (thinking) You need some fresh air.
(Akiko opens the door, Kiko flies out, but suddenly drops onto the floor, leaving Akiko a little scared and worried)
Akiko: Kiko?
(Akiko picks up Kiko's body when Hiro and Baymax enter her room)
Hiro: Oh no.
(Baymax scans Kiko)
Baymax: I am sorry Akiko. It would appear that Kiko has passed away.
(Akiko cries with Hiro comforting her)
Akiko: (cries) Why, Kiko? Why?
(Later at the San Fransokyo Pet Sematary, Akiko, Hiro, Cass, Go Go, Honey Lemon, Wasabi, Fred, Baymax, Lily, Marge, Patty, Ed and Teriyaki are all wearing black outfits, standing in front of Kiko's grave. Cass and Hiro are comforting Akiko)
Cass: I remember when your mother's cockatiel gave birth to Kiko as an egg. She really likes birds.
Hiro: Tadashi says she would always take him to see some birds at the zoo.
Akiko: (thinking) At least your in a happy place Kiko.
Fred: So, will you think about getting another bird, maybe and name it Kiko Jr.?
(Akiko shakes her head, meaning no)
Fred: Oh, getting another bird might not help at all.
Honey Lemon: We gotta find someway to cheer her up.
Wasabi: We could clean her room.
(Go Go looks at Wasabi, unamused)
Wasabi: What?
Go Go: I got a better idea.
(Moments later at Muirahara Woods, Akiko, Hiro, Baymax and Go Go are bird watching. Akiko is smiling)
Hiro: Thanks Go Go, this is much better.
Go Go: You're welcome, your sister seems happy now.
(A robin lands near Akiko as she feeds it some bread when the bird starts eating it)
Akiko: (smiles) Aww.
(Moments later in Antarctica, a giant worm-like monster is seen, currently frozen)
