I • Missing Emblem

The following chapters are flashback of Y/n as she told her story to her son

Draco, have you found it?

Third Person's POV

"Not here, or even here!" Y/n exclaimed as she tossed everything in the bed. She looked everywhere to find the emblem of her family.

The Emblem of L/n. It was passed down to her by her mother as a charm. And she can't lose that emblem. It held so much value to her.

"It's not in my room either, are you sure you carried around your pocket?" Pansy asked as she helped her.

"Yes I do...I'll go check in the library" Y/n said and sprinted towards the library. She almost tripped on her own foot but she needed to find that Emblem hers.

"Shh! This is a library!" Madam Pince said, and went back to her reading. She mumbled an apology and looked over the shelves to find her Emblem.

As soon she got in restricted section. Her eyes practically search everywhere until she found it, lying on the table.

"Ah! Thank God" she mumbled to herself. She picked up the Gold Emblem of L/n, and noticed that there was a note.

To Y/n L/n.

Better keep your Emblem close to you darling. I'm glad I'm the one who found it. And did I mention you looked stunning? Now I understand why you are the Sunshine.

Y/n kept a straight face as she reads the letter. Sure it was creepy to her.

But what I didn't know is that I am falling for him slowly.

"Letter? Let me see" Pansy said as the train takes them back to London.

"He didn't say his name yet, he said his address. Maybe he wanted to talk you more"

"But isn't that a bit creepy? If he wanted to talk to me, then he can personally walk up to me"

"Well not all boys have courage to ask." Pansy said and grabbed a few galleons on her pocket

"Anything from the trolley dears?" The lady on board asked, both Pansy and Y/n decided to but licorice wand and paid for their food.

"So, have you and Blaise...you know, talked?" Y/n asked her and Pansy nodded vigorously.

"Yes, in fact he asked me to attend one of his family's ball. He said he wanted me as his date"

"Well, isn't that wonderful? I'm sure in no time, you and Blaise would date each other"

"Well I do hope so" Pansy said.

As soon the train arrives in Platform 9 3/4, Y/n was greeted by a back hug from behind. She was startled but soon knew who it was.

"Lucas! Stop it!" Y/n exclaimed and turned around to greet her brother.

"It's good to see you back sis" Lucas said and kissed her forehead. She smiled and hugged him.

"I miss you too brother. And it is good to be back. I have loads of stories for you" Y/n said and linked arms with her brother as they approached the floo network.

Her eyes caught a familiar blonde, but she couldn't remember whose hair it was and why is it so familiar

And I wonder to myself, why is it familiar? And why am I drawn into his funny hair? Maybe because I knew him, or maybe he found me.

"Wait, THE Harry Potter?" Lucas asked her as she and her family had dinner in the table.

"Mhm, it was still a mystery to is though on how he got into the tournament. Their family time was interrupted by a tap on their window. Y/n stood from her seat and the letter was from her admirer again.

"Someone's have a boyfriend" Lucas teased her and she giggled

"It's not. It's from Pansy. She wanted me to help her. Mum is it okay if I leave the dinner a bit early? I wanna have some sleep too"

"Why yes of course dear. Just don't forget to close your windows okay"Her mother said and she nodded. She went upstairs on her room, and ripped open the letter.

Dear Y/n.

How are you? I hope you have arrived your house safe and sound. It was sad that I didn't get to talk to you earlier. One of my friends says you were busy. And I still haven't received my thank you yet. Well I quite understand that you wouldn't reply back because I am a complete stranger.

But I do hope you are fine

That was his second time, sending me letter. I must say it was quite rude not to answer back, but I didn't know out conversation would last long.

Y/n grabbed her parchment and quill. She started writing to him back, but not quite sure what to say

To my secret admirer,

Thank you, for finding my family's emblem. It is quite precious to me and it handed to me down. Also, may I ask your name? I am sure I know you if you said your name. And yes I have arrived safe and sound.

She folded the letter and let the melted wax sealed it. She attached her letter to her owls leg and mumbled the address. She watched her owl flew away, as she didn't saw it coming that love was already in the air
