Reki to the Rescue

*Reki's pov*

I was looking up at Langa by the finish line. I was so proud and happy he was doing so well. I was smiling so wide and didn't notice until Joe nudged me and smirked. I blushed and continued to watch. Suddenly I saw Langa go onto the railing which made me very anxious. Suddenly there was a loud creak, the railing snapped. Langa was falling fast. I screamed his name and ran after him. I positioned myself under him and he landed on top of me. Langa hit his head on the floor and passed out and I knew a few of both our bones were broken. I sat up full of adrenaline and picked up Langa with tears in my eyes. 

Cherry pulled up on his moter cycle, "Reki come on!" he yelled.

I listened and jumped onto his bike and we left. 

Cherry was asking me a million questions but I couldn't focus on anything other than Langa. He was sitting in front of me and I had my head on his shoulder. I could hear low shallow breaths. I felt tears run down my face and I held him tightly. I buried my head into his shoulder counting each breath to try and calm down. We got to the hospital and Cherry grabbed Langa and I ran in with them.

"There's been an accident this boy is unconscious and this boy has been injured." Cherry yelled. 

They brought in a bed for Langa and I ran over to him.

"Sir, come with me-" A doctor said pulling me away.

"NO, NO, I need to be with him I'm fine let me be with him please, please." I broke down sobbing as they wheeled Langa away. 

"You'll be okay I have to go tell the doctors what happened you'll both be fine." Cherry patted my shoulder then walked away. 

A doctor helped me into a wheelchair and suddenly the adrenaline wore off and a lot of pain kicked in. Doctors noticed my expression change and I started groaning and holding my chest. I was wheeled away to a room for examination.
